270 to Win
It takes a minimum of 270 electoral votes to win the White House.
At this current time, HILLARY has a projected 288 electoral votes and The Trumpanzee has 178. Those numbers are not even counting Floriduh which is projected to go for HILLARY, too. Sorry, Trumpanzee! Go search for Wife number 4 - since Malaria doesn't want a loser. :a040: :spoken: :coolsmiley: |

However, the GOP will be so messed up, Trump followers upset, etc... The Democrats will own the WH, the senate and eventually the house. And who knows how long before there is any competition for the democrats |
Good thing whatever y'all are smokin' or drinkin' is the reason for the delirium or we might conclude something else to be the cause!

A lot of liberal pot smoking going on. Must be the associated paranoia causing crazy remarks. Hey I think the storm is coming for you ..... boo!

Hellary cannot get the electoral votes if no one will vote for her. It still takes votes and she can't even gather two hundred followers to listen to her tirade, I mean rally. But, she does have the mindless walking dead that will vote for her regardless.

Sec. Clinton has more electotal votes than she needs to win.
It is not the angry old white man votes that are taking her into the White House. Look at demographics of states with big cities! That is what is taking her to the White House. It is not angry old white men, it is not the unwashed and uneducated rabble of the rural states, it is not the uneducated women, it is not the ignorant evangelicals. It IS the college educated women, it IS the colleged educated men under 50, it IS the poor, it IS the young voters, it IS the Latinos, and it IS the Blacks. These people vote in blocs and they turn out to vote. Trump preaches hate toward "Mexicans". He polls even lower than Romney.:coolsmiley: HILLARY wins! |
Remember when Donnie Trump told us he could carry NY state and California? ROFLMAO
The only states he is winning are ones with high populations of non-college white males, ie high school drop outs. |

I wouldn't bet your mortgage on her pulling this off. She won't have the vote. She can't even get a couple hundred out to listen to her screech like a banshee. She won't have the black voter turnout that Obama had, so you can forget about help there. The college kids wanted Bernit and they won't turn out for her. They are smart enough to know a lying crook when they see one. She is even losing the female vote. Women are no longer fooled by vacuum cleaner salesman and used car salesman. Give them some credit. Trump has the white vote and the Independent vote. It will be plenty. He had a record turnout for the primary and that was with 16 competitors getting votes. There will be a record Republican voter turnout for Trump and he will supplement those votes with the majority of the Independent voters. |

Latinos, the educated youth. It is not a county vote but a State vote that will give the electoral votes to HILLARY. |

The old white men did a great service for the USA. However, their demographics don't count in with the majority anymore. |

And you were talking about "white" voters. There are less white voters in the Millennial generation. The boomer generation is 72% white. And many of the Millennials are not old enough to vote yet. And you do know that there is another generation "tweeners" that come between the boomers and the millennials. You can make light of the "old white men" boomers, but how many of the millennials do you think will take the effort to vote? Those under age 45 are less likely to vote than older registered voters. Don't bet you mortgage on hillary just yet. Of course, the way you speak, you are probably too young to own a home, so I might be preaching to the choir. |
There's gonna be a lot of pizzed off Trump followers come November 9.
I can't wait. :D  CNM |

It must be such a kick in the gut for lyin' Donnie, a lifelong New Yorker, to be losing in NY by 50 points to a carpetbagger who has only lived there for 16 years, and to be losing to a woman of all things. Trump and Malaria might as well return to her communist country after losing the election. |

How do you " FIX " a national election?
Especially one like this one, one just about everybody in the world is watching |

There is no Constitutional provision or Federal law that requires Electors to vote according to the results of the popular vote in their states. Some states, however, require Electors to cast their votes according to the popular vote. These pledges fall into two categories—Electors bound by state law and those bound by pledges to political parties. The U.S. Supreme Court has held that the Constitution does not require that Electors be completely free to act as they choose and therefore, political parties may extract pledges from electors to vote for the parties' nominees. Some state laws provide that so-called "faithless Electors" may be subject to fines or may be disqualified for casting an invalid vote and be replaced by a substitute elector. The Supreme Court has not specifically ruled on the question of whether pledges and penalties for failure to vote as pledged may be enforced under the Constitution. No Elector has ever been prosecuted for failing to vote as pledged. Today, it is rare for Electors to disregard the popular vote by casting their electoral vote for someone other than their party's candidate. Electors generally hold a leadership position in their party or were chosen to recognize years of loyal service to the party. Throughout our history as a nation, more than 99 percent of Electors have voted as pledged. |
270 to win
I guess it is like what happened in COL. when the big wigs of the Republican party decided they will be the ones to tell their delegates to the national Convention who they are going to vote for and NOT let the people of the republican party even have a vote.
Yes they took the right to vote for who they wanted to be their nominee for President away from them. Got to love it when the Republicans keep telling people to watch out the Liberals WANT to take away your rights and all the time they ARE taking away peoples rights |
Trump will win by a landslide. HELLary will not get the votes because everyone knows that she can't hide in the White House without answering questions from the press. No one wants a brain dead reclusive as president. She is either damaged goods or a liar. She can only get so much mileage on "I can't remember." Wonder if she will attempt to use that in the debates when she is asked how many tablets, computers or blackberries she used as SecState. Wonder what she will say when they ask her how she can tell what is classified and what is not. She will either lie or be construed as damaged goods. Even though I already plan to vote for Trump, I am going to watch the debates just for entertainment value.

repubs this election are like the fans at a football game with their team down by 50 points and 2 minutes left in the game thinking they still have a chance to win.

Well it wasn't 50 points but didn't Buffalo come back ( I think it was 35 points ) in 1994 or 95? all in two min.

Food for thought:
Look at the Real Clear Politics electoral map as of today. If trump wins Florida, Ohio, Georgia, N. Carolina, Missouri and Arizona--which he pretty much has to in order to win, then if he wins Wisconsin and EITHER Nevada or Iowa, we have a 269-269 tie, sending the election to the House. It would also mean the CD#2 in Maine, with 1 electoral vote would be the tying vote for Hilary or the winning vote for Trump. |
