He is still one of my favorite military leaders.

Colin Powell is all about protecting the Bush family. He wants to see Jeb as president. He also said he could never vote for clinton.

Which was before he became a political puppet as secretary of state.

Most flag rank people out of neccessity (so they say) become political.
When Powell was a 4 star in desert storm he demonstrated leadership and doing what was right.

I am surprised at your admittance of Obama's strength in military matters. But, after all, he is Commander-in - Chief. And evidently an astute politician.

Powell does not like the Bush's. Why would you say that? He backed Obama because he is a racist. I liked working for him, but lost all respect for him when he endorsed the idiot Obama not once but twice. I could have forgiven him for his racist bias the first time, but not the second time after seeing how inept Obama is.

And Powell in a 2014 email said during a conversation about Hillary Clinton "I would rather not have to vote for her, although she is a friend I respect."

What I don't understand is why smart people used email knowing that it is like sending a postcard hoping no one but the recipient will read it. I think he is an honest man that decides for himself what and what not to like. Not everyone does.

-Obama and Powell hate Clintons and they know each other very well.
-the press emphasizes Powells bad statement about Trump whom he does not know personally.
-Hillary says it's the Russians trying to get Trump elected and ignores questions as to why russians released bad Powell emails about Trump.
- Powell ripped Clinton on real issues again and again.
