He is bringing this up to stir the pot. He brought up Cruz's father to stir the pot.

One would think that if you want to win you would not bring up the birther movement when people are trying to decide who to vote for. The people that never believed Obama was a citizen are likely to support him so how does this position add voters.

I just thought of something---and i don't feel like doing the research. Everytime Trump starts moving up in the polls he says something outrageous that hurts him. Does he want to win?

Hillery made that deplorable remark and apologized the next day. That's not the first time she walked something back.

It is quite evident by the comments on all these threads that the people supporting Trump are active birthers themselves and have no problem delegitimizing the President if the United States. Watch how many name calling comments are received from this comment or that I am babbling, simple fact is Trump can shoot someone in the heart and they won't care. Trump said Obama was born in America was just doing so to bring it to an end. Hillary was attempting to divert attention from herself and all of her weaknesses so she started the dialogue regarding his past statement. She is just trying to divert from her huge screw up by calling millions of Americans deplorable and irredeemable. She hose up big time and is desperately attempting to make us look elsewhere. Hillary is a scumbag that will lose to Trump by a landslide.

Hillary was attempting to make his old statement an issue to divert from her major mess up, calling millions deplorable. Trump knew she was attempting to change the subject so he just came out and said, Obama was born in the U.S. end of issue. Small potatoes. I doubt it will be enough to help Hillary after her major damaging comment about deplorable voters.

Getting back to shooting someone Trump said "I could shoot someone one 5th" and not loose votes. Trump said Hillary could shoot someone in the heart and not be charged.

Why is he now on a teleprompter? He's being told what to do and say by someone. Even if he does it begrudgingly.

He's been on the teleprompter for at least a week now. And he doesn't always do what he is told.

All Trump is doing is picking which battles are worth the battle. The ones that are not just leave them be. And the ones that can gain advantage like admmitting Obama's birth back off and press to ones advantage.

Of COURSE he's using the teleprompter. He's got to get used to it. The president is a "talking head", they're told what to say just as Katie Couric and Dan Rather are told what to say. Trump will be just like all the rest...he'll do what he's told...and he'll be compensated immensely for it.

The other is once he was counseled on what it takes to win he is astute enough to take the advice of experts and stay on message and stop lashing out at the bait that he himself provides or like on this forum that the party dredges up and he sometimes needs guidance to not fall for the dems pulling him off track.

If when observes his "new" style, it is 80% + telepromter to remain on point and the other 20% to throw in the Trump personal commentary which has been so largely popular with the voting public.

Obama will be out of office shortly. Even if there is positive proof such as a note from his DEAD FATHER it simply no longer matters. It would take too long to remove him from office.

You seem to be pretty obsessive with this issue. What I meant, if that is what you are asking is, that Hillary started the birth place issue in her campaign and Trump finished the issue as far as he is concerned by saying Obama is American or that he was born here or whatever it was that he said. Basically, he said he wishes to move on to more important issues. Obama's birthplace is no long a valid issue. If it means anything to you, he is a B@stard since his father was married to a woman in Africa at the time Obama was conceived. His marriage to Obama's mother was not valid. Not that it makes any difference. It's just an interesting piece of trivia.
