He asked to have the property transfered to him in the form of a Trust with a limited time horizon so that he did not have to deal with all of the city construction red-tape . He sunk millions into it and then turned it over to the City and it still is operating just fine about 30 years later . He paid for a major ice skating show as the inaugural even . He flew skaters in from all over the country and their chaperons , put them up in hotels and gave them expense money . One of the skaters recruited and flown in to entertain the dignitaries and public was my then 12 year old daughter . He had a separate reception to thank all of the skaters where he went around and made sure to speak with each and every skater and their family members. Over Columbus Day my now 42 year old daughter is bringing her 2 daughters to NY to skate on that same rink with her . I know that he has done many other such acts but I`m not going to spend anytime digging them out . Believe whatever you want and sit in stew in your own venom . |
Gotta laugh at libtards. They talk about being progressive and liberal and how they want change, and then they want to vote for old establishment Hillary that plans to continue Obama's old policies. More of the same. Hey, she said it. Trump should be the ideal for anyone that want's change. And he is not ultra conservative. Democrats are coming over and voting for him, but you would think that these libtards on here would see the light, IF they were truly liberal. I would say that these folks are NOT Democrats, but in reality they are anarchists. They hate law enforcement, Wall St (that handles everyone's retirement funding), establishment, the wealthy, the religious, seniors, the flag, the national anthem, etc. If these are Americans in the Democrat party, then they are definitely NOT the Democratic party of my Dad. Actually, I don't consider them to be true Americans. They are leaches that take advantage of the freedom powered democracy.

Because they are sane
Better question is why are ANY republicans supporting Trump? |
Quote:
Just for the fun of it; We know over 13 million republicans are supporting Trump, how many republicans do you believe are not supporting Trump? Please respond with a number quantity. |

I was thinking about how Hillary could be even with Trump in the polls and not have anyone turn out for her rallies and figured it out. They are folks that stay at home that are called on the phone and polled. Too bad for Hillary that those folks can't vote from home unless they mail their ballots in. But, they would still have to be a bit motivated to vote for her. Not like that is going to happen. But, as lazy as liberals are, I am sure they can get someone to vote for them....like the walking dead.....:1rotfl: |

As to the question of the thread, I do not know of ANYONE that is not voting for Trump, so that is difficult to answer. I do wonder how anyone can possibly vote for Hillary, knowing what they know now about her.

Lyin' Donnie said there were 12,000 at his rally in Melbourne. The trouble is the venue only seat 1800. Reporters at the scene said no one waiting to get in. Check it out. Trump will be lucky to carry as many states as Romney did, and we all remember how well that worked out. |

I find it very interesting that Trump had more supporters turned away from his rally in Florida last week than the total attendance of Hillary supporters that attended her rallies for the last TWO MONTHS. WOW! I can understand why liberals are getting nervous and desperate. If this is indicative of voter turnout for Hillary, Trump will win by a landslide. But C BM, I applaud your attempt to childishly taunt the overwhelming right on here. It must be very depressing for you that you have only the criminal Hillary with no new policies or ideas to use to convince someone to vote for her. NOTHING NEW, but the same old failure record of Obama and her. I almost sympathize with you. ALMOST....:a20:  bye now, lil' girly Not a C-tard |
"The San Diego Union-Tribune, long a bastion of conservatism in the West, broke a 148-year-long streak of endorsing Republicans for president and told its readers on Friday to vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump.
Well, they can get in line. Conservative newspaper after conservative newspaper broke tradition in September by endorsing Clinton — or, perhaps more appropriately, by telling their readers why they shouldn't vote for Trump. The latest endorsements echoed the scathing criticisms of Trump that appeared earlier in September. The Dallas Morning News, whose editorial board had picked a Republican each time since before World War II, said Trump "plays on fear — exploiting base instincts of xenophobia, racism and misogyny — to bring out the worst in all of us, rather than the best." The Cincinnati Enquirer, which had endorsed Republicans for nearly a century, called Trump "a clear and present danger to our country. ...Our reservations about Clinton pale in comparison to our fears about Trump." The Houston Chronicle's editorial board called Trump "a danger to the Republic" and said his "convention-speech comment, 'I alone can fix it,' should make every American shudder." USA Today has never endorsed a candidate for president, but its editorial board laid out eight reasons that people shouldn't vote for him. No. 7: "He has coarsened the national dialogue. Did you ever imagine that a presidential candidate would discuss the size of his genitalia during a nationally televised Republican debate? Neither did we."" |

As for your crying about.... "your attempt to childishly taunt the overwhelming right on here"...I've never been bothered about needing to feel part of a mob or the majority. ;) Not only will my integrity and ethics not allow me to join a mob mentality, especially when they are crass, rude and wrong....but I'm not nearly that insecure. It must really suck...that you are. :D  CNM |

To flurry repubs with emoji? To nauseate other posters with your constant self proclamation of superiority? Does your employer require set hours or is it flexible schedule? How much do they pay you and do they provide benefits? Really, are you some sort of wackadoodle nutjob that believes they are on a life's mission here to change the world via the Talk of the Villages political forum? It seems to me that your nothing but an overweight bulldike lesbo with a chip on her shoulder that has failed to force others to accept her here or in public. Take a sick day and spend it licking your "friend", you might get some appreciation for your efforts there! |
