TOTV Meet and Greet this Friday 10/21 at Crispers

Hoping to finally make it this time if our appointment proceeding the Crispers gathering doesn't run too late.

They have not when I have gone to these Crisper's meeting before but I am just a little worried about how vehement some of the political threads on here have been.

Best to allow hot heads to cool off. And I still would not know exactly who I am talking to in some cases because of the anonymity of the TOTV Political Thread at times. Us Top Ten Posters are pretty much known as to much about us but the people who do not post that much are kind of unknowns to many of us. And then there are all the lurkers. I have talked to some of these with great pleasure once I figure out that this is a nice person I am talking to.

Please stay on topic of the Crispers meeting and not get into political discussions.

Last meeting was attended by "Golfing Eagles", amonst others.

I was looking forward to meeting him and when he came to the table, he said to me, "I know you".

Thanks everyone for joining Don and I yesterday. We had a great group of new and old members which I think always is the most fun. Eileenny2tv, Opmoocher, 2BNTV, Abby 10, hubby John, Golfing Eagles, Littledog and NannyO took the time to spend with us. See you next month everyone.

It seem's like 3pm on the third friday of the month is a magnet for us to have to do something on a emergency basis. This month it was a delayed appliance delivery from Home Depot. Damn. Better luck next month. This is a really nice way to meet the people you kibitz with on TOTV.

Nice time! Enjoyed meeting all who were there and putting faces to the names. Everyone was so welcoming. Thanks again to Baileysmom and Don for handling all the details and hosting. Hope to meet up again the next time we're in town.

Thoroughly enjoyed meeting those who showed up, especially Golfing Eagles - who, as it turns out, is most recently from the town where my husband grew up in Central NY! It was a fun "small world" experience. Hope to meet more of you next month!
