HOORAY! we've gotten a signed contract and we're through attorney review. Now we just have to pass inspections and we're on our way. We'll be in TV in June.:pepper2:

Thanks everyone for the congrats. We are so excited. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that all inspections, and anything else we have to do when selling goes well. Eighteen months has been a long time and we're down one-third from our original price but TV is within our sights. F16 I think you started the wave so hang in there everyone your day is coming.

Good for you! And welcome to this next wonderful stage of your life!

But please, can I ask, did you have to drop the price a LOT? No details, just wondering. We arrived home to Cincinnati and we are looking at our home the way a potential buyer might.

We have a contract and deposit on our house. We await mortgage approval for the buyer and other assorted appraisals, etc. We close in late July, we have travel plans in August and then to TV in September. If anyone knows of a rental, please let me know. We plan to rent for a few months and give ourselves time to look around for a home.
I can hardly believe this has actually happened! The first thing we will do is give away the snowblower! Goodbye Watertown, NY!
