The opportunist Princess is coming to sell her book. Her incessant attacks on Donald Trump were unconscionable. She was on Howard Stern ahow talking about the size of her breasts and her housewife husbands *****. Lost a lot of viewers and would not be surprised if she is not on FOX next year. The Murdochs are starting to realize she is bad for their network. FOX has a deep bench to replace this Niw hated woman.

So who here listens to Howard Stern much less cares aboout what/who is on his show and what is discussed? And who hates Megyn Kelly?

And folks should boycott her selling her book because you say to? lol

I don't usually waste my time watching her. Do I think that she has a thing about Trump? Maybe so. I have also seen her give him some slack when she was in a position to hammer him. Trump can take it and dish it back out again. I don't purchase these type of books and I do not swarm B&N when celebrities are signing books. I like Huckabee and I didn't even go the book store then either. My wife and daughters did and have a photo taken with him. I like and respect him and wouldn't mind sitting down and conversing with him, but I am not going to buy his book and I am not going to buy Kelly's book. Just saying.

I wouldn't go for a boycott of Kelly, because I just don't care about her.

He is just someone who wants to have any appearance we aren't the largely conservative community that we are.

So what would a person's response be if their wife or child was harassed by their employer? "Sit down and shut up. I'm the boss here." Would someone tell their spouse to "shut up" and keep working? Would someone seek legal recourse?

MK has become so very transparent . Everything has " been about " Megan for well over a year as she apparently decided to use the Election to " boost her personal stock " as part of her plan to obtain a new contract worth $20 Million per year .

The more desperate she became as Election Day approached the more many of her once loyal viewers turned away from her .

Fox News has a theater full of talent to choose from both women and men .

What's that have to do with the OP's call for a boycott?

Hell, I'm going to start watching her even if it means that I'll have to unlock Fox. [emoji6]

Very few are making sense. Too much testosterone and chest beating, too many people who have always been nasty. We will continue and we will be the predominantly decent folks we have always been. We have heard some lulu arguments on this Forum over the last year. Shocking, hateful, pot stirring. We have seen some nasty behavior which by the way didn't change one person's mind.

Time to now continue. We have far fewer years ahead of us than we have behind us. Enjoy them. We have chosen to live in a beautiful, peaceful, well maintained place. Grab the time we have and suck the juice out of it.

This forum, especially in the week or so since the election, has opened my eyes to the fact that Villagers are not at all what they appear to be.

So many people I have seen post on here and thought were nice compassionate people, I now see for what they really are as a result of a presidential election.

Amazing that what candidates say can leave an imprint on our hearts if we believe so strongly.

Not one word on this forum about the problems facing this country, as if the color of your skin or your religion was the problem. Our President elect is wished well on his economic plans, and his plans to combat terrorism in the world for sure, but I do not wish him luck IF....IF....his agenda is what his followers on this forum think they are.

Political talk provides an opportunity to speak one's mind. I welcome that opportunity, and as most responding, make every effort to respond in a civil, unemotional, factual and objective manner. In turn there will always be those who disagree with you and me and some very disagreeably but that is the trade off and one I accept.

Megyn Kelly disappointed and thus lost me at the first primary when she began with a pointed question that I believe help build this momentum over exaggerated misogynist claims regarding Trump and hence moving the primary from substance to sublime . I believe the question was unfair, irrelevant and a bit salacious. I was looking for her to direct a policy-oriented question to Trump

Clearly, Ailes spoke and acted inappropriately and his forced resignation was justified. Personally I found his relationship with one reporter disgusting but what consenting adults do behind closed doors is none of my business.

However Megyn Kelly has resurrected events better than 10 years ago to help advance both her career and her book. Her claims as a feminist may be true but she has chosen careers both of which are highly competitive, very aggressive, fast moving and subject to bantering by both the boys and the girls. Hence she certainly is not a shrinking violet and heard much worse along her career path than she relates Ailes spoke to her.

Succinctly stated we have a newly made and temporary diva advancing herself as both victim and righteous, hero and conqueror. One who thinks its OK for her to unfairly strike out at a person like Trump but defensive when a person like Trump strikes back solely because she is a journalist.

You can't judge The Villages by this forum.

Folks need a place to speak their mind with no repercussions. This is an excellent venue for it. I doubt there is one person on here that I would not get along with in person. Every person on here would go out of their way to assist you if you were in need, I have no doubt at all.

No one should take anything said on here seriously enough to cause them stress, because no one on here means anyone harm. This is just a means to express your thoughts without worrying about hurting anyone's feelings. Try talking like this to your family and they will disown you. Although, I get away with a heated argument with my brother because we have always been this way. But, when it's time to break for supper or whatever, we laugh and enjoy our meal or whatever. Our wives used to think we were going to end up in a fight, but it has NEVER happened. No one even goes away mad.

You would be surprised as to how much you can learn about current events by reading on here. Many times I have read something and immediately researched it's veracity.

This is not how any of us act in pubic so those that read this can be comforted to know that The Villages really is a friendly place to live. I bet there is no other place in America that is as generous with charity as in The Villages.

Just curious -- since you seem to be a self-appointed Referee on this site would you help us out by letting us know what your uniform looks like ?

Some of what you say is true, however my take on it is this...

It is not a political forum with no discussions of any issues facing our country of which I see very little to none.

It is not a political forum when the majority of the posts and/or cartoons reflect simple and pure hate for skin color or religion.

It IS being used as a judgement on The Villages. Of that I assure you.

You cannot post some of these things without those feelings being in your heart. I see folks posting purely hate filled posts with absolutely very little to do with politics. Many of those folks I have seen posting here for years parading a character of compassion and love for all. One election with the words used and it appears either they were being phoney from the get go or those words completely changed their heart.

I learn NOTHING about current events on here ANYMORE I attempted to talk issues on economics, etc on here a number of times, supplied reading material to begin conversations, and was met with either silence or mockery. That does not make me a intelligent guy, but obviously not very smart in continuing that.

I never go away mad......just total disappointment with what people are obviously carrying around with them.

Since the election when I came on here and supported and hope for anything Trump does for the country, all I read is mean spirited and hateful responses.

I also disagree that it has not crept into our daily lives here in The Villages and when I read about the disgust you all have for the protests, I think of your supporters spitting on reporters, justifying it.....using total and absolute terrible 4 letter words at rallies, justifying it. Hi, we chose long ago to NOT watch M Kelley. There are some real great persons on TV to watch that are reporting the news and not promoting themselves.

Dear Guest: In a general sense I understand and respect your points of view. However, there are other ways of looking at this forum.

Actually there are many posters who provide information concerning current events, etc and do not resort to nasty and negative banter.

Secondly those few posters that betray the moral and civic manner of the majority of village resident only draw judgment on themselves and not The villages. I say this because there are those non-contributing types on blogs all over this nation and the population as a whole is quite aware of their presence. Hence the ubiquitous of the TROLL

Third, some people seem to view changing a position as a bad thing. Indeed it can be but it also can be a good thing because he shows intellectual growth. We all are always learning and always growing.

Fourth by now most people have learned that those individuals that constantly spew hatred and negativity eventually self consume. It s unhealthy for body and mind to be so consumed in hate, anger etc. Most of us understand that mediation, pray, laughter, live let live, etc are ingredients for a happier and longer life.

Fifth in summary I refuse to let hateful, boastful know it all's affect my life. I can only be responsible for my feelings and emotions. Hence I can only be responsible for my actions . I choose to act in a responsible and positive and sharing manner. I recognize that I can be wrong at times but then I am also right at times. And the best part of this is that so too do the majority of posters such as yourself.

This forum in my humble opinion does provide valuable information, fellowship, laughter and my personal favorite an opportunity to witness the creative manner in which individual posters react and explain their thinking on a variety of subjects.

Don't give up on us we need and welcome your positive contribution .
