Figuring out Trump
 

I've been trying to understand why a person who is supposedly successful and super-rich, would:

1. Go on tweet rampages in the middle of the night, raging against those who have upset him.

2. Refuse to be the only political candidate in modern history to refuse to show his tax returns and prove that he doesn’t have any potential conflicts of interest.

3. Continually try to shame women on their looks and/or bodies, while he himself is a portly blob.

4. Basically tell our intelligence agencies that they don’t know what they’re talking about in regards to cyber threats and that a country that we have been in conflict with for over 50 years, is led by a guy who Trump has a bromance with.

5. Embellish and lie on almost everything about himself, in an attempt to make him look smarter and more successful than he really is.

6. Constantly resort to bullying anyone who doesn’t buy or believe, in his thin façade.

7. Builds grandiose monuments to himself, in the hope that glitter will supercede substance.

8. Make intelligent people cringe when he speaks at a 6th grade level and repeats the last two hyperbolic adjectives in most of his speeches…over and over.

After contemplating these personality defects, it has come to me that I think Trump knows deep down…he is basically white-trash.

He realized long ago, that all the money in the world...can't buy you class or grace.

His entire life has been spent trying to build wealth and fame, by lying or buying the influence he needs for the sole purpose of trying to hide the fact that he’s just smart enough to know…that he’s actually an intellectual lightweight and will always be so.

That he convinced enough people otherwise to get elected POTUS, does show that he has street-level cunning however and knows how to pander to those same undercurrents of racism, xenophobia, misogyny and bigotry…that all too many Americans have shown to have just beneath the surface.

I have strong doubts that he will actually fill his entire four year term, as I believe he will either be impeached and removed from office or resign once it’s found that he’s been using the highest office on this planet...to further enrich himself and his family.

Just exactly like other third world dictators/despots have done…but on a much more massive scale.

In so many ways, he’s simply another Richard Nixon…without Nixon’s intelligence.

Emotional IQ vs Intellectual IQ

Of which he has neither...which is even more confusing.

I will give him that he does have a street drug dealers 'canniness' ...which certainly plays into it.

And yet, against what most felt were insurmountable odds, HE WON!! So, you can all cry me a river.

I didn't like Obama's ideology from the time he started campaigning to the present, and I still don't. But he won. I lived with it, so if you know what is healthy you will too.

Trump knew his market. They were at his rallies. But he is at sea right now and we're floating right along with him. He is like that crazy uncle you can never take you eyes off of or you'll be sorry.

One things for sure. The next 4 years are gonna give the late night shows the best comedic fodder since we found out about J Edgar Hoovers clothes closet.

At this point what difference does it make

HE WON BIGLY

We were away on a 10 day cruise.
Left election day.
Great planning; heard the results. And did not have to listen to any weeping and crying and moaning and groaning.....until just now.

He won. Suck it up.

Your problem will be significantly more tolerable than wehn we had to digest the election of an unknown, black man, with ZERO experience at anything but smoke and mirrors and BS!

Except for a very few comedians SNL has never produced an original, entertaining or quality show. Its primarily a love fest for liberals who desire to disparage anyone in society who does not fall in line with their indoctrination. Its essentially non-elitists feigning being intellectual elitist. And there is a lot of that liberal indoctrination going around with the alphabet stations, HBO etc

I watched a wretched movie last night titled The Anniversary Party (2001) that clearly speaks to the thinking of the Hollywood/celebrity set (self-indulgent very unbalanced). I place much of SNL in that same category.

Over my head naw. I am just too clear headed to engage in such propaganda because when I want propaganda I read the newspaper when I watch TV, etc I just want to be entertained

So do a lot of liberals' idiotic remarks. It must be hard on you to accept that fact that those that you insist on disparaging are responsible for your candidate's failure to succeed. Perhaps all that money spent on liberal education was not quite up to snuff.

Here's an interesting thought. If the 47% (non-tax paying) voters supported Hillary for more freebies, then that must mean that many well educated and successful folks voted for Trump. Take a lot about you. It appears that all those supposedly well educated voters are no longer behind you, but instead are on the Trump side. Trump did not win by a majority of rednecks you know. There are not that many rednecks in America. Just something for you to think about when you disparage your neighbors.

When Trump calls and wants counsel or a visit to the west wing, the president should tell him to go pound sand.

Is that what Bush did? Seems to me that I have never heard a disparaging word about Obama come from former president Bush. Then again, some have class and some do not.

Then face facts that we live in REALITY not OBAMALAND.
1. Trump seems to be a workaholic. I could not keep up his pace and I doubt many of us could.
2. Trump did not release his tax records. DID YOU PUBLISH YOURS? I think the answer has already come out.
He has been carrying over a major loss for years an so has paid little or no INCOME TAX in years. Is is fair? We both do not think so but that is the law. You in your ANTI-TRUMP ANTI-REPUBLICAN VIEW find the tax issue important. YET, YOU WERE READILY WILLING TO DISMISS THE CLINTONS DANCING ALL OVER LEGALITY. Interesting FACT-the income tax is the most hated tax that Americans pay and yet it is only less than 20% of the TAX our government EXTRACTS from us. If, you refuse to see that, look on your cell phone bill-it is 1/3 tax, they no longer show on a gas pump what percentage of the price you pay to fill your car is BUT ROUGHLY 1/3 WHAT YOU PAY IS TAX. A friend used to say,"They have so many ways to pluck the chicken he does not know he is bald." There is more than one way to spell that.

What is it that you liberals said when it was the opposite in 2009? Oh yeah, elections have consequences.

The people spoke. There were more Democrats registered than Republicans, but with the Independents and the smart Democrats that crossed over and voted conservative, Hillary lost, and congress lost to Republicans.

We hated it when Obama the socialist got elected and congress was Democrat but we sat back and planned for the next congressional election. The left said the Republican party was finished and then took the largest loss to congress in history. They said Trump would not have a chance and now they are in shock and denial. Hillary is damaged goods and the left's evil conniving and conspiracy to screw Bernie backfired. Now, you have to live with it for at least two years for congress and four years for president.
