What's getting boring is the massive overcoverage of a few pranks by some misguided individuals. These types of incidents have been happening for decades but the liberal media has chosen now to make them a big deal because they want to use them as an 'example' of how mad Trump has suddenly made the world.............

"Media stirring the pot" = Truthful reporting on the large numbers of racists/white supremacists supporting Trump.

And after Trump's statements in campaigning...it's obvious why they rabidly support him.

While a microcosm of the nation as a whole, just reading the posts here on TOTV of those expressing their hatred/racism/xenophobia/misogyny/homophobia...shows it isn't just an anomaly.

"Whitelash" is real and I'm just a bit surprised why so many exhibit it...but refuse to acknowledge such. :shrug:

I've never seen so many people, whose candidate actually won...still be so angry and livid.

The meeting Trump had with big media networks wherein he lashed out calling them liars was in my view a bad executive decision. There is no doubt in my mind that the main stream media deserved it all and more but there was a better way to make the point.

The American people rely on the competency and truthfulness of journalists. They have an ethical duty to themselves, their profession and to the American people to report factually, openly honestly and without bias.

Journalists failure to do so is a breach of trust with the American people. Their breach of trust only begets more distrust and more distrust descends into chaos...and here we are.

Why are people so easily led? Because our leaders in government and in industry have cultivated collectives (groups of like thinking people who too often follow blindly) and discouraged individualists

Pence is a bit of an unknown, but I'm guessing he will quickly be the one actually running the country while Trump realizes he is way over his head and will retreat to his Twitter account...to lash out at those of us who laugh and mock his simpleton views of the world.

The best that can be hoped for at this point, is that Pence shows a modicum of competency and continues to defuse the inflammatory and ignorant statements...that flows forth from Chump at the wee hours of the morning.

It was reported yesterday that, since elected, Trump has only had two intelligence reports (PDB's). Someone should explain to him that once sworn in, his number one job is to keep this country safe, and he does this by being briefed every day. Pence is being briefed daily. Trump should learn that the buck stops with him, not Pence.

President Obama, when he was president-elect, asked for extra briefings especially related to Iran. All president-elects have been getting the PDB since Nixon, except Trump. Lucky for us he knows more than the generals.

Somebody needs to take Trump aside and explain to him his number one job is to keep the country safe, and you do this by learning the intel. Obama was correct when he said Trump knows nothing and is not interested in learning.
