How does weakening his Presidency serve you?
Those of you here that post negative comments do you think you accomplish anything.
Why not give him a chance? |
After all, after the last 8 years it can only get better. Look at the record close of the Stock Market yesterday. It has already begun.

Obama did about the same thing but not as quickly. He did try to change things but was challenged by the Republicans at just about every step. |

Oh wait...he's not president yet!! |

Most executives and investors recognize when a business or entity is not being run properly/profitably/fiscally responsibly. They, including wall street anticipate the expected efforts of a change agent. They know the results will be better than under previous regimes. Just take a look at the energy and construction industry anticipation of the changes to come under Trump. Even when Trump finds he will not be able to do everything he said because of the way things works in Washington....he will not be nor is he even close to being one of the good old boys. That is a notion some take comfort in hoping Trump will not affect their "establishment". |

First, I haven't read anything from either side that remotely discusses the issues involved. Secondly, all the hyperventilating and name calling (libtards, etc) is sort of confusing since Trumps proposals are as much Democratic as they are Republican, maybe not to the extreme left, but so many things that Democrats can support. I, also, only see reactions to him yapping on Twitter. If anyone here would discuss what might happen, including his cabinet appointees, it might help. I imposed Trump for two reasons....first his lack of morals and character, and secondly total lack of clear proposals. I am a Republican, and as I read some things I easily could support, and others simply confuse me. Would love to discuss the COUNTRY, but on here it is pretty much beating of the chest, demeaning those who are different, or attacking Clinton. Do not see what the OP sees as negative on the IMPORTANT stuff at all, actually they never get discussed. If you want people to "throw roses at his feet", then you have a crew here ready to do that. However, I choose to try and learn what he might do, has done, etc that affects the country. When the main subjects are to demean the media, which is just plain stupid, or continue the campaign by discussing Clinto, then I think you are wasting time. For me, right now, the lack of transparency on his business is my biggest concern, and please...I do not care what rate his taxes were....but I, and so should you be concerned about "making America great again" with a President that may be deep, deep in debt to foreign countries. If that doesn't concern you, it should, and I suspect his issue will just grow in importance. |
Good post

Re: Obama and blaiming the republicans for his failure

For his first two years the Democrats OBAMA'S PARTY, controlled both houses of congress. TRUMP right now has the same situation. THE LIBERALS PRESS, AND THE OTHER LIBERALS SEE HIM AS A MONSTER. Trump has not yet taken office as president. I FOR ONE HOPE HE WILL BE A GREAT PRESIDENT-WE SHOULD ALL HOPE FOR THE SAME. WILL THINGS BE PERFECT? SIMPLE ANSWER-NO. WILL THEY BE BETTER THEN OBAMA OR HILLARY-THE COUNTRY THINKS SO. |

Trump has had an outpouring of support from Romney, Haley, etc along with some democratic good wishes. Not sure what this "beating on your chest" and acting "put upon" gets you at all. He is in transition right now..his appointees will be critiqued....THATS LIFE FOLKS. His personal business dealings are important and his lack of any transparency.....not sure how long since he faced the press to answer questions but longer than the norm in this situation for sure. I have leveled the charge that this is a cult on here and I stand by it. BLIND LOYALTY for issues you dont even know about is a concrete symptom of a cult. Shocking to me is the total and complete lack of even "wanting to know" anything. I know your leader wants you to go after the press and you will follow him, although EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT gets good and bad press....most times the bad press is not about a media source lying, but a media source DISCOVERING facts. Responding to someone who mentions a FACT, with cartoons, FALSE NEWS sites or the like is pretty lazy to your point. |
How about replying to the ?
How does weakening his Presidency serve you |

It has been reported that Trump carries billions of dollars in debt. It has also been reported that no US financial institution will work with him because of his six bankruptcies. So that only leaves the conclusion that the billions in debt is indebted to foreign countries. Of course we will never know because Trump won't tell us. As far as running his company while president, Trump is on very shaky ground. If any of his companies accept a gift from a foreign government, this violates the constitution. Every business dealing his company will be involved in will have much scrutiny. |

All his proposals were on his website so stop that BS |

To respond to that question someone must agree that someone is trying to weaken his Presidency in some manner and I do not see that at all. Questions being asked are not only the country's business but are normal questions asked of a President elect. He has received much support from within his party, AND BEYOND Not sure if your question is for this forum or the world. In either case, I sure do not see anyone, in anyway trying to do anything negative, but as with all Presidents, the nation wants to know. Please explain, if you will HOW ANYONE ON THIS FORUM OR ELSEWHERE IS TRYING TO RUIN HIS PRESIDENCY ? You are asking a question that is not really a question. Are you expecting blind obedience and trust ? Heck, not only has no President ever received that, but Trump himself rails against that in his books. |

I have read his website a number of times and will restrain from telling you how it changes a lot, or has changed a lot but I have read it a number of times but I do not accept things without research. Thus you obviously are a better researcher or you simply accept everything he says as gospel !!! |
Quote:
Referring people to his website is sort of childish dont you think. I am betting that any candidate for any job has a website with views for use to read...why do we not accept them as presented ? |
Quote:
Trump was elected by less that 25% of eligible voters. can you think of anything positive ??? |
Quote:
Half don't bother to vote...half of them vote for the other guy...that leaves 25% max. |

No attempt to weaken. Just pointing out roadblocks aheadbthat WILL weaken this administration.
"Two Justice Department investigations of the German bank that has loaned Donald Trump more than $300 million must be turned over to an independent prosecutor, a senior U.S. Senator said this week, because there will be “a clear conflict of interest” between Trump’s personal business interests and his public duties." Calls for Deutsche Bank, a Big Trump Lender, to Face Independent Prosecutor - ABC News House Democrats Warn of Trump’s Potential Conflicts Over Deutsche Bank - WSJ “Trump will have ample opportunity to make and influence policy decisions that benefit his personal business and financial interests,” the lawmakers wrote in a letter dated Tuesday. “Deutsche has been the only major Wall Street bank to continue to lend to Donald Trump and his entities in the wake of six Trump-business bankruptcies.” " "The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is looking into whether big banks have been mishandling securities in the arcane but sizable market for American depositary receipts, according to people close to the investigation. The SEC has sent subpoenas to four depositary banks— Bank of New York Mellon Corp., Citigroup Inc., Deutsche Bank AG and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.—as it examines whether the banks have broken controls designed to prevent market abuse and tax fraud, people close to the investigation said. SEC investigators are still in the process of interviewing potential witnesses, as well as analyzing a trove of data the banks sent in response to the subpoenas issued late last year, according to people close to the probe. The investigation won’t necessarily result in enforcement action, they said. |

I have standards, chief of which is being right - something you and I apparently don't share. I think you need more time in your crying room perhaps |

There is an AP for sale that specifies every business to boycott to hurt Trump's bottom line. |
Trump won and that is the most positive news America has heard in over 8 years. Libtards can have their childish tantrums all they wish, but all they are proving is WHY they lost.

I think it's hilarious, that anyone thinks criticizing the POTUS...is "weakening the presidency." :1rotfl:
A big part of being POTUS, is showing the class and grace to accept criticism and continue to do your job...like Obama has. If the new guy and his supporters are so thin-skinned that they don't understand this...it's gonna be a long couple of years for them. :D |
Quote:
First of all I think the "new guy" deserves being called a better name than that, he earned it. Trump or President elect is far from thin skinned, Romney, Hally and Cruz for starters Act like an American, can you? |
Quote:
With all of the names that your ilk has called Obama, you want to lecture me on calling Chump (oops :1rotfl:)...the "new guy?" Why haven't you ever whined to them? That is just surreal. :ohdear: |
Quote:
Obama has whined from day one of his election. He has ostracized the Republicans for not agreeing with him, as well as the Supreme Court. He even called out the Supreme Court in front of the Nation. He made such comments as "the Republicans are your enemy" when speaking to Latinos. He has said that the Republicans can sit in the rear of the bus. He has criticized law enforcement. Obama has been the most divisive president in history. To say that he has class is definitely a big joke. And to speak of Trump's supporters by saying we are thin skinned is another joke. It is the left that are rioting in the streets, need pity rooms with puppies and days off from school and are demanding vote recounts. I guess it is easy for you to make things up in your head, but reality is about to hit you like a runaway train. Obama has brought class down into a hole that America will be hard fought to climb out of. |

On Tuesday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Obama was the "Neville Chamberlain of our time."
Neville Chamberlain’s mistake – acceding to a territorial compromise that did little to check Hitler’s continental aggression – is seen as a kind of original sin, a fatal act of foolishness and moral cowardice that had to be redeemed by nobler, braver men in the hideous years to come. “This is the greatest appeasement since Chamberlain gave Czechoslovakia to Hitler,” said Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), reacting to the Iran deal last week. “[President Obama] is doing this because of his very poor understanding of history and what happened to Neville Chamberlain.” |
