Why not give him a chance?

After all, after the last 8 years it can only get better. Look at the record close of the Stock Market yesterday. It has already begun.

They just see him as conducting business as usual. Wall Street likes predictability in a politician not mavericks. He ran as someone who would really change stuff in DC and he just looks more-and-more like one of the good ole boys.

Obama did about the same thing but not as quickly. He did try to change things but was challenged by the Republicans at just about every step.

Yeah. He hasn't changed one lousy thing yet.

Oh wait...he's not president yet!!

I don't think they view him as a maverick at all.

Most executives and investors recognize when a business or entity is not being run properly/profitably/fiscally responsibly.

They, including wall street anticipate the expected efforts of a change agent. They know the results will be better than under previous regimes.

Just take a look at the energy and construction industry anticipation of the changes to come under Trump.

Even when Trump finds he will not be able to do everything he said because of the way things works in Washington....he will not be nor is he even close to being one of the good old boys.

That is a notion some take comfort in hoping Trump will not affect their "establishment".

Actually, this question sort of makes no sense.

First, I haven't read anything from either side that remotely discusses the issues involved.

Secondly, all the hyperventilating and name calling (libtards, etc) is sort of confusing since Trumps proposals are as much Democratic as they are Republican, maybe not to the extreme left, but so many things that Democrats can support.

I, also, only see reactions to him yapping on Twitter.

If anyone here would discuss what might happen, including his cabinet appointees, it might help.

I imposed Trump for two reasons....first his lack of morals and character, and secondly total lack of clear proposals. I am a Republican, and as I read some things I easily could support, and others simply confuse me.

Would love to discuss the COUNTRY, but on here it is pretty much beating of the chest, demeaning those who are different, or attacking Clinton.

Do not see what the OP sees as negative on the IMPORTANT stuff at all, actually they never get discussed.

If you want people to "throw roses at his feet", then you have a crew here ready to do that. However, I choose to try and learn what he might do, has done, etc that affects the country.

When the main subjects are to demean the media, which is just plain stupid, or continue the campaign by discussing Clinto, then I think you are wasting time.

For me, right now, the lack of transparency on his business is my biggest concern, and please...I do not care what rate his taxes were....but I, and so should you be concerned about "making America great again" with a President that may be deep, deep in debt to foreign countries. If that doesn't concern you, it should, and I suspect his issue will just grow in importance.

In short, IMO, a number of guests that post on this forum don't care to discuss issues because that takes informed and careful research of the various issues. It's much easier to bully and rant with constant negative remarks.

For his first two years the Democrats OBAMA'S PARTY, controlled both houses of congress.

TRUMP right now has the same situation. THE LIBERALS PRESS, AND THE OTHER LIBERALS SEE HIM AS A MONSTER.
Trump has not yet taken office as president.
I FOR ONE HOPE HE WILL BE A GREAT PRESIDENT-WE SHOULD ALL HOPE FOR THE SAME.
WILL THINGS BE PERFECT? SIMPLE ANSWER-NO.

I would agree and sure do not get the "oh poor me" attitude of the posters.

Trump has had an outpouring of support from Romney, Haley, etc along with some democratic good wishes.

Not sure what this "beating on your chest" and acting "put upon" gets you at all.

He is in transition right now..his appointees will be critiqued....THATS LIFE FOLKS. His personal business dealings are important and his lack of any transparency.....not sure how long since he faced the press to answer questions but longer than the norm in this situation for sure.

I have leveled the charge that this is a cult on here and I stand by it.

Shocking to me is the total and complete lack of even "wanting to know" anything.

It has been reported that Trump carries billions of dollars in debt. It has also been reported that no US financial institution will work with him because of his six bankruptcies. So that only leaves the conclusion that the billions in debt is indebted to foreign countries. Of course we will never know because Trump won't tell us.

As far as running his company while president, Trump is on very shaky ground. If any of his companies accept a gift from a foreign government, this violates the constitution. Every business dealing his company will be involved in will have much scrutiny.

Because you can't get past that there's no debating with you, you keep stopping to throw stones so much you can't get where you're going.

To respond to that question someone must agree that someone is trying to weaken his Presidency in some manner and I do not see that at all.

Questions being asked are not only the country's business but are normal questions asked of a President elect.

He has received much support from within his party, AND BEYOND

Not sure if your question is for this forum or the world. In either case, I sure do not see anyone, in anyway trying to do anything negative, but as with all Presidents, the nation wants to know.

Trump was elected by less that 25% of eligible voters.

I believe the average is 17% of the voters actually voted for the guy who won...in all the past presidential elections.

Half don't bother to vote...half of them vote for the other guy...that leaves 25% max.

Republican challenge did not mean anything in the first two years. Like Trump, Obama had a totally party controlled congress and could do anything he wished. He wasted his time passing Obamacare with NO Republican votes. What a wasted two years. What a wasted 8 years. Yes, I know he is very popular, but so is Oprah, Brad Pitt, DeNiro and any of many celebrities. Obama was and is a paper tiger.

Obama has whined from day one of his election. He has ostracized the Republicans for not agreeing with him, as well as the Supreme Court. He even called out the Supreme Court in front of the Nation. He made such comments as "the Republicans are your enemy" when speaking to Latinos. He has said that the Republicans can sit in the rear of the bus. He has criticized law enforcement. Obama has been the most divisive president in history. To say that he has class is definitely a big joke.

And to speak of Trump's supporters by saying we are thin skinned is another joke. It is the left that are rioting in the streets, need pity rooms with puppies and days off from school and are demanding vote recounts.

I guess it is easy for you to make things up in your head, but reality is about to hit you like a runaway train.
