Do I understand this correctly? Jill Stein is asking for a recount? This person who had zero chance of winning and received less than one per cent of the vote wants to spend taxpayer dollars on a ridiculous recount? I hope that her supporters see what a fraud she is.

True that it is from donations. But that is to get the state to do the recount - the recount fee. The cost of the actual recount will be borne by the taxpayers.

When was the last time the electors elected someone other than the person to whom they were bound? In most states there are severe penalties for electors that don't vote as instructed.

There have been a few faithless electors over the years but they were mostly for show and the votes were cast after the winner had been determined.

For those of you hoping the electoral college will not vote Trump in good luck with that. Ain't gonna happen.

If the recounts actually take place, those hoping to find results in their favor may be even more disappointed. On election day in Philadelphia, talk radio exploded with callers reporting incidences of voter fraud, from GOP poll watchers being blocked from entering some polling stations, to machines counting votes twice, to machines stuck on Hillary's name and not being able to change it. The liberals may be sorry they opened up this can of worms. And I say liberals because most Dems I know voted for Trump.

While we're at it, maybe we should recount California to see how many illegals voted there. Many people who live there reported Trump signs all over the state and some are still in disbelief that he even lost there.

There won't be any civil war...the whole recount thing is to appease the lady libs. The D party is mostly women, they don't have the balls to have a civil war. The minorities? 9MMs held sideways...up against deer rifles? Slugged 12GAs? AR-15s? I don't think so. Any civil war/race war would be quick. 95% of them live in cities. Cities with bridges and tunnels, choke points. Cities that NEED supplies. A siege would last less than a month. Nothing in and they're all dead. Several million is a lot harder to feed than a few peasants in a castle. They have no leadership. You think Clinton would lead a revolution?

When you vote, you elect an elector, who is legally free to vote for ANYONE they wish. He's from the R party so obviously they USUALLY vote for their guy...but the precedent is there to vote against your own parties candidate.

it's the conservatives that the government fears...that's why I think Trump will remain and he'll be borrowing and spending like a madman. It's all been a ruse.
