Obama seemed to believe in a far too strong central government. Gay marriage-whether you want it or not, gun control-whether you want it or not. allowing news sources to be able to be reduced for 49 in the 2960's TO ONLY FIVE. YOU CAN BUY A FLAG AND BURN IT-BUT YOU CANNOT BUY A KORAN AND BURN IT.

The vote is CLEAR. THE AMERICAN VOTERS DO NOT WANT BIG GOVERNMENT-SOCIALISM.

Boy...there are SO MANY rulings they've made in the past that should be overturned. ALL the equality stuff. Takings, corporations are people...they're a start.

Its clear that flag burning is protected by the First Amendment and affirmed by the court and by the best jurist this nation has ever had sit on the Supreme Court. Its also clear that the greater majority of people view flag burning and burners in the negative which is a very positive sign.

What we have to watch is when the flag burning goes beyond that point and questionable behavior takes hold. Perhaps then there would be cause to stop/arrest the perpetrator

The First Amendment right is guaranteed to offend someone. Progressives either ignore this reality or are not aware of it. Hence we get the trigger warnings, etc and call for safe spaces .

We see an example of this call for safe spaces at Hampshire university in Amherst,MA where the flag has been removed. Worse yet in the center of town they raised the united nations flag in place of the American flag .

They NEED "safe spaces" because they're NOT equal. They NEED quotas because they're NOT equal. When will you admit they're not equal?

Well, States defy Federal laws by making drugs legal in their State so.......

Sanctuary cities, churches, Universities, etc. etc. What do you or anyone else propose we do? Or better yet, what do you think anybody is going to do? I say NOTHING and you are naive if you think different.

ENFORCE the laws of the land.......FIRST!!!

Charge flag burners with burning without a permit. If they ask for a permit, deny it due to the pollution aspect of burning the flag in pubic. If it is dealing with pollution, then the liberals would be in a conundrum. Surely, they would not want to be construed as hypocrites.

Hang on! The "new sheriff in town" and his administration and congress are going to do plenty. I can hardly wait.:a040: outlaw

If, we accept FLAG BURNING as freedom of speech, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BURN THE KORAN, THE BIBLE OR WHATEVER YOU HOLD SACRED.

Aside: As I expect you know the ruling is that you can burn the American flag BUT, YOU MUST OWN IT. You cannot burn someone else's flag. AND AS THE LIBERALS SO EFFECTIVELY DO BURNING MY COUNTRIES FLAG IN PUBLIC IS A FIRE HAZARD FOR WHICH YOU CAN BE ARRESTED.

Sure he will...he's hanging out with the usual suspects...nothing will change because the same old corrupt cronies will be running things. IF he'd brought in his friends, political nobodies, I'd believe his pre-election rhetoric...this is "meet the new boss, same as the old boss". Except now, the Rs are in total power as opposed to the Ds. Money...lots of it...will be borrowed and spent.

YES...that is what freedom of speech IS. EVERYONE gets to talk, especially those who disagree with everyone else. The mob is often wrong.
