The politics/business as usual crony democrats keep Pelosi
So the message is the old establishment (too many over 70 and in the job too many years) has voted to keep things as they are in the deomcratic side of congress.
We the people demonstrated a choice on 11/8 by elcting Trump. We the "political class" have demonstrated on 11/30 we like things just as they are.....whether the little people like it or not. So the same old crony farts that have a perfomance rating of less than 10% have spoken....certainly shows where the democratic parties priorities are. A perfect set up for the dems to lose even more in the 2018 midterms. |
I am tired of being pigeonholed into the ultra right classification of Republican, there are several things in my list of values that don't fit. I don't want to be called a Democrat, they are haters and pseudo-elitist mostly working for the government and/or teaching and have little practical experience running anything.
I want to be part of this messy, long labored birth of whatever it is struggling to be born. I don't want someone to tell me who I have to like and who I can't hate. It is unrealistic and incorrect. I don't want people to tell other people to donate on a certain day, when they have unpaid bills that need to be paid first. I don't have to listen to people full of hatred call me a Klansman or a disrespector of women or anti-Semitic and a gay hater or their very worst, a church goer or horrors, A CATHOLIC. I am sick of it. I want to be something else. Something that is respected for working and saving and never being arrested and bending my knee to pray. I want everyone wearing a safety pin to open it and sit on it. |

It's been said, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, but expect a different result.
What does that say about the Democratic party. |
The average age of the House Republican leadership is 47.
The average age of the House Democratic leadership is 76. |
Same Old Same Old
The decision made by Democrats today provides insight/proof of what would have occurred had Hillary Clinton prevailed in this election ...same old same old. Blue Dog Democrats have been bailing from their party recognizing its downward spiral toward socialism and total government control
Voting Trump in is the beginning of a shift back to opportunities for true growth, true change and law and order. Personal Best Regards: |

Voting Trump in is the beginning of a shift back to opportunities for true growth, true change and law and order. Response from bbbbbb Well, as all the good Dems do, reinstate the bitch Pelo Pelo. Why? Well they say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and wanting different results? How do you get that to happen with Pelosi again and again? Loading her plane with all the friends, lots of booze, fly around, see the Grand Canyon, just another gov leech. And good old Harry, hey he is the tough guy. Until some good guy smashed his ugly face into more rubble. Sorry, but this Demo group and Hillarites are a bummer. :throwtomatoes: |

Too funny, The party that just elected the oldest man ever in US history to be president is complaining about the dems being too old. And this coming from senior citizens. The second oldest, Ronald Reagan, was already showing signs of Alzheimer's when elected. |

The irony and hypocrisy...is pretty funny though. :1rotfl: |

Your only hope is to stop electing any D or R for any office. Vote for independents, things will happen slower...and they should. You won't have the endless wars, the endless bailouts, the endless graft and corruption. At least not as organized and efficient as it is now. |

We never talked about age when John McCain, at age 72, ran against Barack Obama, at age 47, did we? |

Rep Nancy Pelosi always delivers her votes, always is able to hold her caucus together. For any poster on here that doesn't want their Medicare to go to a voucher system, Pelosi could be your new best friend. She (and she alone) will be leading the charge to fight the GOP every step of the way as they declare war on seniors. |
Should have stepped aside

Pelosi's quote of "you have to pass the bill to see what's in it" is classic Pelosi. That was the most laughable thing I've ever heard.

By virtue of his election the American voter demand a shift in direction from both parties. I have used Ämerican voter"twice because if accounts have any validity illegals have been casting their votes. A retired immigration officer having lived in six different locations during his career states an illegal can get a social security, drivers license for $100 to $300 depending on quality and can obtain these documents same day. After arresting illegals he often asked if they had voted in elections, many had. We need to purify our election system once and for all Personal Best Regards: |

I voted for Trump and I have no regrets. If that changes for me, then I will still feel comfortable knowing that he is far better than Obama or Hillary. And he is infinitely better than Gary or Jill, the two clowns. So, you can keep babbling about your rebellion, but remember that when charging ahead, you might want to look behind you for all those following you. Right now, it appears you are on your own. |

Obviously written by someone who approves of Trump's plans to privatize Medicare and the VA. How does Rep Pelosi stop him? She combines her dem votes with a few dozen rep votes, which come from districts where the incumbent is afraid of losing his job. Read all about Trump's plans on Rep Paul Ryan's website. Trump and Ryan are joined at the hip on this one, as is DHHS nominee Rep/Dr Tom Price. He is hell-bent on this privatization. For a really scary read, check out his website. This is the guy that wants women to be fired for using birth control. Just what women want, an old white guy telling them what they can do with their bodies. |

Sudden interest is caused by Trump's quick reversal in Medicare policy. All through the campaign he vowed to NOT touch any entitlements, even at times suggesting that he favored universal health care. That was until he got elected. |

Trump hasn't even been sworn in yet, but his appointee, Tom Price, promises to privatize Medicare in six to eight months. Hopefully no Trump voters are on the program or they might feel like they got duped. |
Iwish people would listen to Pres Elect Trump and his speachs . He did call for privatizing the VA, only let Vets on a long list to go to a private Dr. once and bill the VA.
Entitlements are now the biggest portion of the National Debt. |
And please let us have someone who is against privitization explain why.
The only folks who bad mouth privitization are politicians and special interests that have a benefit and or personal gain for it to be under the spend all you want government. |
