Opposing views are fine.
Unfortunately there are many who view any disagreement with their position automatically unacceptable.

To get back to the subject, it is possible for the D and the R parties to agree. The problem is that there is no longer a Democrat party. It has been overrun by liberals and socialists, that make it very hard to meet on common ground. And yes, the Republican party has become a party of mostly RINOs that use the word conservative incorrectly to describe themselves. Most of the division between the parties could be attributed to Obama being a very weak party leader, thus having A...holes like Reid and Pelosi running amok.

Show me the TOP women, the women who beat EVERY man...I don't think there is...in ANY field. To answer the original post, yes r and d will meet in the middle. Unfortunately they will agree to continue spending our children's futures so no tough decisions have to be made. All these replies are just smoke so real issues don't need to be discussed. We are an exceptional people, are we not?

I never said it was all on one side. Both sides do it and it needs to stop if we are ever going to meet in the middle.
