Nearly half of all Donald Trump voters believe a widely debunked conspiracy theory claiming that Hillary Clinton is involved in a child sex ring run out of a popular Washington, D.C. pizzeria, a recent poll suggests.

The Economist/YouGov poll released Tuesday shows that a staggering 46% of Trump voters believe the so-called “Pizzagate” conspiracy, which began circulating on obscure sites like 4chan and Reddit ahead of Election Day before spurring controversy on Twitter and Facebook.

Hillary being a member of the Clinton family with a sleazebag like Bill, one can hardly blame someone for thinking that the whole family is scum. After all, Hillary did defend Bill and even attack his accusers. And she is a felon waiting to be prosecuted. And they are both felons for grand larceny of gov property when they left the White House. So, yes it is understandable that people think she is a scumbag.

I tried to goggle it but came empty but perhaps there is a poster who recalls the German diplomat that was accused for raping a hotel maid when in the US. His was referred to as KSM often in place of his full name. He denied the allegations and about a year or so later the press found that this guy was a sexual deviate...........

I reference this because too many people seem to believe that because people who command celebrity defamation is the only cause for such accusations. Is the rumor about clinton, et al true????

However there are facts of such a nature that weave into this story of sexual intrigue that keeps it alive.

Everyone knows that bill is a pervert and it's ok with hillary. Hillary is not involved with a sex ring, but polls are very skewed to draw attention. This polling service is online only. I expect a lot of the Trump supporters are older people that don't use the Internet.

Maybe just maybe this poll is not to be believed. Maybe it's all Clinton supporters responding, saying they are crazy Trump supporters.

Now if you want to judge the intelligence of Clinton supporters, just look at their real life actions after the election.

Take Jan for instance saying the new rise in consumer confidence is not attributed to Trump.
