What cell phone service providers work best in the area around The Village of Caroline? We have AT&T and don't get good reception in our home. We are thinking of going to Verizon.
We're not sure of the difference in a Blog and Post so we put this on both.
Also, what is a thread?

WE have Nextell as do most of the workman in TV and the service has been outstanding in The Villages, Caroline and all of FLorida with minor excpetion while driving through Ocala National Forrest.

DO NOT get Sprint..we tried Sprinit for 30 days and returned the cell phone.

Same network now.

I have Sprint and used it without any problem in TV for six months. As a matter of fact, husband has Verizon and is switching to Sprint

We live in Poinciana.......Sprints nightime minutes start at 7pm and Verizon 9pm

nobody mentioned Verison.

I am using TracFone and it works great.

NO! Down in the lower section of Mallory I can't get a signal with Sprint. Spotty in areas but over all in TV we're satisfied. And I was everywhere N & S of 466 yesterday looking for a golf cart making several calls. Yes Sprint and Nextel are one.

We have lived here for over 5 years now and I still have Sprint. In fact, I have never had anything but Sprint since I got my first one many moons ago back in Texas. Works great everywhere I've been here. Hope this helps.

Sprint did buy Nextell..but they still operate different Voice systems. Just go to the Sprint web site snd look for coverage for FL 32162..then click on sprinit VOICE coverage and then Nextell Voice Coverage..same company MAJOR difference in Voice coverage.

We got rid of Sprint when our contract ran out. It did not work, period, inside our houe in Hemingway. Had to go outside to get even one bar. We switched to Verizon, which is a little better at our location, but still not great.

While Sprint provided far better service when we lived up North, when I had it down here this past winter I had a number of calls that never made it to me (Hemingway). We have since changed to Verizon and things seem to be a bit better.

We live in Virginia Trace and have Great reception with Verizon.

I have verizon and I haven't done this in awhile but if you dial *228 you can update your phone and improve local service. In the past I have found this helpful when we travel. Perhaps sprint has something similar. It is worth investigating. Good luck.

I use Verizon, very happy. Have the family and friends plan, no charge for minutes used with family. Great plan
