Doubt that voter fraud really happened to any extent, but as a former NH resident, I can attest to the reality that many folks left Massachusetts to escape the high taxes imposed by liberal government only to demand the same stuff they left behind thereby creating another liberal state with increasing taxes. The same thing happened with folks leaving NY to go to Vermont. NH is now like Massachusetts and no longer the Live Free or Die State, ditto with Vermont. Kind of like many of the recent immigrants to the US. They leave a country because of harsh regimes and poor living conditions and rather than accepting an American way of life and assimilation, they want to change the USA into what they left behind. Go figure....

I used to vote in Colorado ID required here in Florida ID required.

The only problem I have with requiring an ID is when you pass a law requiring it and then you close all but 1 of offices where you can obtain one. That is called VOTER SUPRESSION!!!!

Do you realize election day is not a surprise, it happens every year. In most states you have to register months in advance, there is no excuse not to require a proper ID, none.

The vast majority of poor people already have plenty of ID to gets benefits.

Both in Colorado and Florida I have had to produce an ID. To me it was NOT a big issue however, some states have done some crazy things with the Voter ID. Like Alabama who required a Drivers License to vote and then close most of the offices in which you could apply for one!

In earlier time women often replaced there middle name with their maiden name when they got married. This becomes a problem for women when they register to vote and the birth name doesn't match the driver's license name.

Passing a Voter ID law should be done in a NON VOTING year as to allow people to obtain the ID.

As low as the intent is to tamp down on voter fraud and NOT an attempt at voter suppression I'm all for it!
