Shell Gas Stations ON 466
 

What exercise in keeping your head on a swivel if you're trying to buy gas between 11:30 & 1:00, with all the contractors trucks, especially the ones with trailers blocking the entire station

The place is crowded by people buying lunch & lottery tickets--its almost impossible to get to a gas pump

Timing
 

It's all in the timing. I try to get gas on Sunday after dinner. No problem with getting a pump. The lunch times, for me, are not an option. You take your life in your hands trying to gas up!

Does anyone know if this gas station still except Winn-Dixie points. There are no gas stations left on 466 a that take them

The Shell on 466A at Colony takes the Winn Dixie card.

And their gas prices compared to the stations on 466 is way out of line--they charge more using a credit card, too 18 cents/gal & thats for cash--credit card is more

Compare their prices by using "gas buddy"

I used my Winn-Dixie Reward Card at the Shell on 466 and Southern Trace last Thursday, Feb. 16. No problem.

The only issue I ave had with either of the Shell stations on 466 is that their air pumps kept breaking down. so I went to Home depot and purchased an air compressor problem solved, easy storage

I typically get gas between 10pm and midnight, when I am one of the very few Villagers awake and up and about. Peaceful time of night, I might add...

Hopefully they arent making a lot of noise while pumping gas.

The problem is that you have to follow their instructions, if not it will reject the Winn Dixie card.

Filled up at the Shell (east) on or about 12:30 today. There were cars purchasing gas but I quickly found a pump and was in and out in less than ten minutes. Since I very rarely shop at Winn Dixie don't have rewards. It's true these two shell stations are usually busy (they are often a bit cheaper than others in TV) and if too busy I just move on.

Yes, I tried my card 4 days ago and it would not take it. I just assumed pump malfunction and not them ending relationship with Winn Dixie. Thanks for info

You have to go inside & see the clerk to use your gas rewards & prepay. That's what I did this afternoon.
