Went to the Town Hall meeting in Sumter County this morning. More Democrats than Republicans in attendance with a lot more sings. Pussy hats were worn...I don't own one of those. One really angry woman screamed at me that I was paid to attend.....nope I said I live in Calument Grove. She went on but....

The Congressmen did come out and started out with a very long prayer. After which he just talked about things his office can do. He took no questions. But he did shake hands with both sides including me.

Then it was off to the Callaway demo!!!

Did you take any photos? I am guessing the wackadoodles were in attendance as they don't have jobs nor contribute to taxes, just mooch off others and bitch they deserve more. Pussy hats...what women's rights has anyone threatened to take away?

You gave me nothing....I was a women in the Medical IT field dominated by men. That didn't stop me! I was quite often better at the job than they were. For months they were trouble shooting an interface in Philly without any success, the customer was p***ed off so even thought I knew nothing about this product the bosses asked me to take a look at it. I asked the guy to send me a snipet of the problem.... one look at it and I said "line bid contention". They didn't believe me....but that is what it was.

We couldn't fix it so I asked the LIS to do it and they agreed because they knew me...then I had to tell the customer. One of the "GUYS" told me the customer was going to "RIP MY FACE OFF" I said will shall see.

I explained, the customer understood and then I said to the guy who was AFRAID...Thats why they call me the snake charmer.

I fought for and earned everything I have!!!

Pregnancy and birth are difficult subjects to navigate, a lot of emotional charged hysteria on all sides. The opinion piece you linked, do you feel the father of the child has any rights with regard to decision of an abortion for a child he helped create? I believe he has a responsibility to help raise the child if it is born, and that seems moral and the act of a good man. Would it be moral and the act of a good woman for her to allow him a say in the abortion?

Planned parenthood abortions should not be funded by the US taxpayers! I am pro choice, but one thing that seems evident is this program is wrong on many levels. If you had to choose one, do you want healthcare provided to the poor (including preventive measures such as pap smears and mammograms) OR do you want abortions provided to the poor?

As for free birth control, the stuff costs $7 a month, if she had a choice between purchasing birth control or cigarettes which one do you think she is going to buy? Maybe they should put birth control in cigarettes they could call them "keep her slims"...why do the liberals want to prevent the poor from having children, is this genocide?

So I don't think buying cigs instead of Birth Control is a major issue. Smoking rates have been going down for years and I am one those in the statistical drop.

If a woman's life is threatened I have no problem with the abortion. I really haven't thought much about paying abortions so I can't speak to that now. But I am supportive of providing preventative healthcare to the poor.

Allowing a man to over-rule a woman's decision to abort makes me cringe. But if the man would sign an agreement to take the child after the birth and raise the child. I would be good with that. But if the pregnancy was cause by rape or incest then "H**l NO!

I have answered this welfare question more that once hopefully this will be the last:

I believe that welfare should be a helping hand up but not vocation. The disability program is a joke now with whole families of healthy people on the rolls.

There are rules about what you can use the EBT card for and cigarettes are not on that list. However, some people cheat...not sure how to control that!

How would you root out the cheats?

If only 23% are smoking cigarettes that means 74% are not. So we should punish all of them for the minority bad apples.

I have discussed this at length, yes you asked me for my thoughts on welfare...those are opinions. We have gone several rounds on this now.

Not splitting hairs, but it was 26% and I am saying some additional are not being counted (possibly they feel smokers are ostracized). 90% of all the temporary labor I have hired (hundreds of people across the country at numerous construction sites) smoke cigarettes. In fact 50% of them ask for an hours pay just prior to lunch, and they come back with a pack of cigarettes. They all have Obamma phones (plural) and they would all rather be back to the labor office prior to closing to get that days money. Very few of them can work 3 days in a row, they all have problems, and it is seldom their own fault.

With regard to your statement of punishing the majority of people below the poverty level, because of the minority that is below the poverty level can be wasteful or scamming...could we agree that has been the case with regard to those above the poverty level having to support those below the poverty level all these years?

Welfare is a trap that acquires more people every year, we are not helping them we are holding them back. Work or starve...that was my options.

Again you did not answer the question posed to you, what do you call a person who cannot afford to feed or clothe themselves and receives welfare, but can afford to smoke?

I guess I could only use my guys - so I am not contributing to the working poor statistics. All though my guy's wives might have a problem with them being out of town longer.
