Of all man's' feelings, disgust is the one feeling that has to be learned. so when someone says to you their disgusted it has great meaning.

I have reached such a point of disgust concerning the behavior of all our politicians, news media, etc and the vile filth that they level on one another that I am turning much of it away.

Its all madness and any attempt to have a civil conversation or to point to a truth is met with language that never before was permitted in a polite society.

Facts don't matter any longer. Truths don't matter any longer. All that matters is a person's desire to vent his/her unfiltered feelings on a subject.

Its easy for anyone to be caught up in this circus of hate and innuendo ,shaming and deception, that's the nature of our politics today.

The best I can do is assume a measured response and limit my exposure to this insanity and even then the political trolls pounce.

I know you love him and find him infallible, but for the last few months, one man's antics, one man's lies, one man's factless accusations, one man's mean spirited attacks, one man's attacks on judges, etc...re driving everything hike you and your ilk cheer him on.

This morning ourvPresident, once again tweeted a made up lie about Obama (relative to Gitmo). This comes after his accusations on wire tapping, millions of illegals voting, and so many others.

You certainly are correct in laying blame on all politicians. I agree.

But, right now, more than any time in history, there is simply no leader in our country to believe. AND when our leader is the "liar in chief" we are in serious danger as a country.

We have this situation with the extremely serious, and I think EXTREMELY is understating what all of this means to our country.

On this forum, for example, almost all posts are simply words criticizing liberal beliefs. While I would love to join that, my country, in my opinion is under terrible duress, and that duress is not attached to any specific ideology.

It is not related to conservative or liberal belief in any way but whether one President illegally wiretapped another. It is not related to conservative or liberal beliefs if a sitting President charges an ex president with an extremely serious felony with no basis for such charge, nor one he will make facing the American people.

All of this....investigating Russian involvement in our election (a needed investigation), investigation of serious wire tap charges, along with personal slams (a needed investigation), investigating charges of millions of illegal votes cast (a needed investigation) prevents discussion of the real issues facing our country from Iran firing missles (200 miles from Japan), ISIS using chemical weapons in Iraq, a new healthcare plan and its implication to our national debt, a study of vetting for immigration into our country.

Who do we believe ? In most cases we would believe our President, but based on his life, his campaign, and a short 6 weeks in office, we cannot. God help us in a real emergency knowing the truth.

This has to be resolved,...these issues..,they have nothing to do with conservative or liberal...NOTHING.

They have to do with what appears to be our leaders themselves destroying the government. I know Bannon advocated this exact thing, but that is so scary, I cannot accept that as of yet.

I agree with you again in this post. I don't understand why an intelligent discussion about the condition of this country both financially and morally cannot happen in this forum. My guess is most posters don't want to face the truth, much easier to blame Trump, Obama, Dems, Rep, etc.

I and others have tried....do not even get that many reads. Now, if you start a thread go after either progressives, Trump, Obama, etc you get lots of activity.

BUT FIRST......we need leadership. We, in my opinion, have lots to discuss but who do we trust.......I pointed out how very very serious the charges being leveled really are.

These charges cannot in any way be overlooked by anyone, and they have nothing to do with any conservative or liberal dynamics. It matters not at all.

Either our current President is a continuing liar or our ex president committed a crime of such large magnitude it can never be forgiven or overlooked.

Not sure how there can be a middle ground.

Yep, the ramifications of the new health care proposal on taxes and our deficit, the study of vetting, the ISIS threat and use of chemical warfare, the missiles from N Korea, and so much more, BUT I think it is absolutely for the good of this country that we establish some trust in our leadership. This morning another lie told on twitter and my trust is totally and completely gone.

In 6 weeks there are already so many investigations going on, all generated by actions of the administration, and that staff is loaded with people who actually have said...tear down the government ....I hear Obama is building something for political activism although no specifics are ever given.

I am not ready to will my nation over to people who are so NON trustworthy and feel this entire thing has got to be straightened out.

If Obama did what he has been publicly charged with, let the american people know with evidence and let the courts take care of it and move on.

If Trump simply lashed out in anger to make such a serious charge, then we need to make a decision as a country on how to handle that very serious item.
