The Trump Song

you may want to hold off on your glee and self satisfaction as to the response from these foreigners. Judge Derrick Watson, hero of the progressive elite class, et al has for political reasons only placed America in a poor light by falsely claiming Trump's travel ban as being discriminatory against Muslims. It certainly makes it easier for our enemies . Progressives' effusions are undermining our nation's image and its very dangerous. Personal Best Regards: |

And many people will now have to look out for the terrorist who looks like their next door neighbor because of how idiotic Donald Trump is. |

The great socialist president FDR banned Japanese travel. Did that include all Buddhists or orientals?

And FDR's decision was a very poor one. |

And we are at war with terrorism, so you should probably not forget it. Even if you do enjoy the safety and protect due to our patriotic members of the armed forces. Putting a temporary ban on travel from certain countries is not something that Trump wants to do to make you mad. It's for your safety. It has nothing to do with a religion, because if it did it would ban half the countries in the world. |

If he wanted to "keep us safe," he would lead the charge on mandatory 5 year sentencing for ANY DUI convictions. THAT is what is 100's of times more likely to kill you...than a terrorist from one of those countries. This is simply playing to the ignorant base, who are bigots/hypocrites...toward a religion. Deepest Sincere Wishes:  |

(NATIVES) WHO LIVED IN ALASKA......IN ADDITION TO JAPANESE AMERICANS, GERMAN AMERICANS, ITALIAN AMERICANS IN ADDITION TO LEGAL IMMIGRANTS FROM THOSE COUNTRIES. AND OH, BY-THE-WAY, THE TERM "ORIENTAL" IS A MISNOMER. THOSE INDIVIDUALS FROM ASIA, AND THEIR ANCESTORS, ARE NOW REFERRED TO AS "ASIANS". Mistakes that the American Government (including Presidents) that happened 70 years ago and are totally in the light of day suggest strongly that the history of America, sometimes not the most honorable, should be studied so that similar mistakes do not happen again. Asserting today's blame for yesteryears missteps is akin to being uneducated, and utterly idiotic. |

Good post. My concerns on this ban are a little different. I understand the concern for Islamic terrorism. BUT we have been told a few things that just do not add up. First, we excluded Turkey from the list. If you research, you will find Turkey is about 100% Muslim, and maybe the centerpiece for terrorism activity. Secondly, we are told this is a TEMPORARY BAN while the vetting process is insured to be rigerous. When will we hear about the results of the vetting process study, and who is doing that study ? From every expert I have heard our vetting is just about second to none. I do agree that the paranoia is simply racism. This is not new your country, as you point ou, and we are not perfect, but how many days, months, years have we listened to our President tell us how bad Mexicans were, Muslims are bad. I hope we are not that weak to succumb to a candidate being able to tell us whom we should hate. |

Completely agree with FDR's decision regarding the Japanese internment. We were at war, they sank our carriers and attacked us first. California and the entire west coast was in imminent danger of being attacked. His decision was based on the current events and feelings at that time. Also, Italian & German Americans were interned as well albeit not on the same scale. |

Maybe so...but we DO work to PREVENT those things for happening...we've confined most of the minorities into the inner city slums where they only kill each other. We're aggressive with drunk driving...when IS the last time you heard of a drunk driver killing someone around here? For sharks, they watch and post signs, keep people out of the water. We're always being warned about lightning and the dangers, told to go indoors when lightning is close. So why not warn about possible terrorism? We did have 911. I don't think so...I don't think "we" are making America a nightmare...that is the doing of the 51% percent minority population that has dragged the country down from #1 in the 50s to #25 now as THEY become the majority. Your fears are misplaced. Quote:

America and the IRA were essentially on the same side, fighting the same enemy, but they had very poor timing.

Anyone want to proffer a guess, as to why there were only about 11,000 German's in the US put into internment camps in WW11...versus the 110,000+ Japanese that were interned (over 60% AMERICAN CITIZENS)?
It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that the Japanese 'looked different' than the white Germans...could it? Given the current hysterical prejudice against 'brown-skinned people'...I guess things will never change for bigots and racists. :ohdear: |

What you THINK is "history" is usually propaganda. "History" IS written and rewritten by the winners...and the new "winners" are the minorities. They ARE rewriting "history". |

Trump is attempting to protect America and you fools are just fighting him out of spite. You are a drowning victim that is fighting the lifeguard that's attempting to drag you out of the water. |

What would you call a blockade imposed on your country by another country at least 6 month prior? And act of peace? The US laid siege on Japan LONG before Pearl Harbor. |
Don Baldwin. I think you just like to fight. I bet you didn't join the army.
or Navy...or the coast guard. How about the Peace Corp? Are you and Dave Harris the same person? I have figured out who one of you are in real life. Very interesting. |

Key word "attacked." Yes, America was responsible for just about bankrupting Japan due to their lack of natural resources. And I have basically over simplified my statement to make it shorter. I am not going to pursue this any further, since it has nothing to do with the subject. I was only defending someone's comment that was incidental to the comment about FDR putting Japanese into internment camps. I am not going to debate the motivation for someone entering into war. Whether anyone wishes to believe it or not, when America went to war with a country, if that country was defeated, they usually ended up gaining from us, economically. Japan and Germany did very well, thanks to us. |

Our "his-story" books should be called propaganda books. ME and Davi...the same person??? Are you kidding me? Quote:
The countries we go to "war" with...DO end up better off...I'm not disagreeing with that. We give them everything they need to be customers of the globalist corporations. We lend them "money" so they can hire corporations to fix things. So they can buy things. Don't believe all the propaganda...America hasn't been the country YOU think it is...for a long long time. We have our boot on everyone's neck. Troops in what 150 countries? "United States military deployments. The military of the United States is deployed in more than 150 countries around the world, with over 300,000 of its active-duty personnel serving outside the United States and its territories." "Despite recently closing hundreds of bases in Iraq and Afghanistan, the United States still maintains nearly 800 military bases in more than 70 countries and territories abroad—from giant “Little Americas” to small radar facilities. Britain, France and Russia, by contrast, have about 30 foreign bases combined." |

In contrast, the Japanese were recent arrivals, emigrating after 1880 and in smaller numbers. Between 1886 and 1911, 400,000 men and women left Japan for the U.S. Lastly, no matter what you saw in that famous historical documentary "Animal House", the Germans did not bomb Pearl Harbor. |
