I heard some gossip that our Kathie I is going to sing and dance at the luncheon. Did someone say the song was "LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU."?? I hear that she has been practicing singing at Karaoke and someone spotted her shopping for a boa.

I'm going to practice the dance tonight at Havana. Sorry you can't make the lunch, I was hoping you'd help me sing "Let US entertain youuuuu!!"

Whew!!! Truer words were never spoken!! Truthfully, I thought the heat and humidity would keep many peeps away, but we had a tremendous turnout. But 1/2 way through the celebration, the sky opened up to torrential rains, thunder and lightening. F16 (Bless his soul) decided to play the part of Tom Hanks in Cast Away and through off his shirt, grew a beard and started on the ark!! Whatta man he is.. We knew we didn't have to worry too much because we had bathroom facilities and food but we thought we'd never get out of there. Stranded until 5:30pm, some of the smart ones left a little early before the rains came but for the rest of us, it was hang around until its all over. Thank goodness, my love, Ronnie was there, so I was hoping we wouldn't get out for days, but unfortunately the rain stopped and we all went home :sigh: Pictures forthcoming after the dancing tonight at Havana. So hang onto your hats, I promise to post them soon. Betti, why weren't you there? I didn't wear my boa but I did do a dance !!! |
OMG Kathie, by the time I get down there you are going to be a size 2 from all your dancing, and if I keep eating 1/2 gallons of iccream at a sitting Im gonna be well....................
