Having a doctorate or terminal degree, and numerous political positions, does not qualify one as a leader, or for leadership. Case in point, Barack Obama. Obama & Merkel are both very smart people. Their motives are questionable and neither is a leader IMHO.

Yes, Donald is taking four or eight years off of his business of being a billionaire so that he can donate that time to America for his own personal gain. Some would suggest that this is not the brightest idea or way to spend that much of his twilight years, but I doubt too many would suggest that he is doing it for "personal gain." But, let us explore the possibility a bit. Obama was worth how much when he entered office and now he is worth, what? About $40 million? Ok, he made millions. That would be a step down from being a billionaire, in my humble opinion. On the other hand, the Clintons said they were bankrupt or broke when they left the White House, and we all know that the Clintons are renown for their honesty.

So, say that again, Trump did it for "personal gain?"

You are not watching what Trump and his family is doing very closely then.

Obviously, I am NOT watching them as closely as you are. Of course, I don't use Twitter or Facebook, so I don't care about fashion or music. On the other hand, I prefer to judge the man by what he gets accomplished. And I have not seen ANYONE work as hard as he does, even with all the left hindrance, not to mention some from his own party.

He's dong it for his legacy...he will now be remembered in the history books...and not as just another nameless billionaire. There have been a LOT of people who got very rich who's names have been forgotten...but not presidents...he MAY end up being just another president forgotten...but he WAS a president and his name will live "forever" on those lists.

And that is why he is working his @ss off trying to get things done, right?

I don't know his personal motivation other than his name living in eternity.

I do know he's owned by the same people who have owned the past presidents. He may have been his own man BEFORE the election...but now that he's the president...his a$s is owned. He will do as told...

It is truly sad how divided our country is.

Truth be told I blamed Obama for this. I believed Obama hitched his wagon to the worst that is America-success envy, belief that others should PAY YOUR BILLS, RACISM,
LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE VIEWS OF OTHERS. People posting CRAP like CHUMP. People screaming to prevent others from their right to free speech. MINDLESSLY rioting
often with no idea of what they want.

We are LEGALLY rid of Obama. Sadly, we have not gotten rid of the worst that is the American people.

Black people...the answer to both. Mindless rioting and violence...the WORST of the "American people". Always on the bottom...everywhere. WHEN will we LEARN! It's them...they're NOT us and we can't expect them to BE us. Children shouldn't run things. Compared to us...that's what they are.

Maybe the president was setting a trap for liberals.
