"DOG USING THE RESTROOM" on common area sparks fight and blood.
There is an article just published on another site about a "dog using the restroom" in a public area IN THE VILLAGES and another man challenging the owner and then allegedly causing physical harm to the owner.
Two things. "Dog using the restroom"? Is that PC or just dumb? AND yes this may become another dog poop thread. This happened in Liberty Park. Mugshot and all is available to look at if you are so inclined. |
I used to work with a lady who always told her dog it was time to urinate. Never got used to hearing it.

I believe the acceptable term for this incident would be
" Escalated cross-species territorial marking dispute". |
Read about it this morning. An advanced thinker he is. One day the individual will place his hands on the wrong person and the outcome would be different.

OK, let me try. ************** **************.com Village News dot com WOW, Competitive censorship caught redhanded. |
:read:Ok, Like to ask a question please! Why is it OK for folks to take their animals to the common area around the mailbox for watering and/or pooping? This also includes the areas around the pools, shuffle board area, horseshoe pits, and sidewalks! Understandably, not everyone wants to negotiate the areas and put up with the smells, especially summer time, where folks think it's ok to allow their beloved pets to releive themselves! I often wonder what is wrong with the grass at their homes? Just wondering why is it "OK?":read:

It isn't o.k. to hit people even if you think to be justifiably angry. AND it's against the law unless you are protecting life, hearth and home. Crooks do it all of the time. I think we need bigger jails. |

Most Villages allow two dogs per household with no weight restrictions. This has attracted many dog lovers to The Villages. There are thousands and thousands of dogs in this "dog-friendly" community. I do feel the Developers were negligent allowing two dogs per household but not providing enough dog parks. Don't shoot me, it's just one opinion. We are happy to pay for the privilege of taking our dogs to a private dog park. :throwtomatoes: |

I've run into this individual a few times. He is nice enough but definitely of the alpha male variety. I'm not particularly surprised this occurred. I got the impression that put him in the right frame of mind and he'd take on the world. Guess I was right. Sigh.

TOTV wants you to socialize, and read posts on TOTV. I believe there is an automatic detection device that determines when someone tries to post the name of the other site, and it is automatically filled in with asterisks. It's not a "secret" when people refer to "that other site." They just can't write it out, although a previous poster pretty well spelled it out in words. |

Before we take our Old Boy Barney for a walk we thoroughly drain him in our own yard first. Problem solved. We have the best neighbors and feel very fortunate about it. Enter stage left a new neighbor who crosses the street and lets their 5 lbs dog do their thing on our lawn. I think I feel like Yosemite Sam mentioned above. People are so inconsiderate. I choose to keep quiet at this time and hope for a easy resolution one way or the other. If not maybe Mr. Barney our 96lbs Boxer will have to take his show across the street. Just saying but I would never do it.
Dogs should do their thing at home or at a Dog Park, common sense and consideration be your guide. |
