No Animal Feces in Garbage Can

Does that mean we cannot use the pooper bags, tie them off and toss it in the garbage can.

Yes, I can read, just I read it as no poop tossed in can, not no poop in a pooper bag tossed in can.

Haters can do their normal hate, but if it means non at all, is it only focused on dogs?

ColdNoMore 06-06-2017 02:53 PM

NO...means...NO.

manaboutown 06-06-2017 03:02 PM

No matter how well it is packaged, poop is poop and in the end it will all come out at the dump as poop.

ditka41 06-06-2017 04:26 PM

"NO poop" in the garbage can is not discriminatory against dogs, or other animals. ---- They don't want you pooping in there either.

It still smells when it is even in a poop bag.

ggnlars 06-06-2017 06:56 PM

What garbage are you talking about here? The dog park has bags and a can. Is that handled differently than the other garbage?

jsw14 06-06-2017 07:00 PM

He was asking about those cans (like at the mailboxes) ....where there is a sign that says 'no animal feces.'

Go look again at his first post and you'll see... "No Animal Feces in Garbage Can."

kcrazorbackfan 06-06-2017 08:42 PM

Wow! There needs to be a section of The Villages dedicated only for people to live that have pets; come to think of it, we (pet owners) do have the entire proximity of TV to live in because we (again, pet owners) probably out-number the non pet owners and pet haters and, AND, (get ready for it) we pay our amenity fees just like the non pet owners and pet haters.

Does this strength in numbers give pet owners the right to be irresponsible with their pets and let them poop and pee anywhere they want and not pick up after them? Absolutely not.

Everyone take a deep breath and discuss whether or not the Water District will rescind the 10% surcharge when the drought ends; the surcharge cost all of us money, pets and dog poop just give some people angst.

I believe the bags provided at the dog parks are biodegradable.

What do you do with it?
Take it home and put it in your own trash!

CFrance 06-07-2017 02:14 AM

Actually (in regards to a prior post), I think there should be a section of The Villages designated for people to live who don't own pets!

That actually goes to a trash dumpster by way of a cleaning person's van.

I know people who live in Stonecrest. One has even been a force at making a dog park bigger. She puts me in stitches some time with her stories. Like with her pastor or minister at Pasta Faire. She does have a pooch. Walks him three miles or so every day over there.

"Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?
And the sign said anybody caught trespassin' would be shot on sight
So I jumped on the fence and-a yelled at the house, "Hey! What gives you the right?"
"To put up a fence to keep me out or to keep mother nature in"
"If God was here he'd tell you to your face, Man, you're some kinda sinner"
Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?
Now, hey you, mister, can't you read?
You've got to have a shirt and tie to get a seat
You can't even watch, no you can't eat
You ain't supposed to be here
The sign said you got to have a membership card to get inside"

Taltarzac725 06-07-2017 07:39 AM

I wonder if human feces would be OK?

Well you are right about some humans being very animalistic. I was thinking of those night walkers who might get an inconvenient touch of the runs. IBS sufferers and some seniors probably can relate especially if you have a dog that needs walks no matter what the state of the weather or one's health. Irritable bowel syndrome - Mayo Clinic

I have always brought the waste home. But now I have a question, should it go into my regular garbage (which is what I have always done)? Or does it go into my recyclable garbage? I don't remember seeing/reading anything about this.

Definitely put it in with the recyclables. I can't wait for my next recycled soda can or plastic milk bottle to have the lingering taste of dog excrement!!!:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Same thing I am thinking. They tell you to pick up after your dog, then tell you not to throw it away.

I was thinking they mean picking up the poop with piece of paper and toss the un-bagged poop into the garbage.

How would you recognize the taste?

If birds can't do it on lamp posts, they are going to target garbage cans.
