Bill Cosby's Fall from Grace.
Bill Cosby's defense rests without hearing from famed comedian - CNN.com
I see it is Bill Cosby's BD today. He certainly has fallen from grace over the past decade or so. My younger brother used to make jokes about him which I did not get at that time ten years ago. I guess word was already out among the African-American community. My younger brother married Grace a Jamaican-American about ten years ago. I used to watch the Cosby inspired cartoons when much younger --Fat Albert-- quite often and loved his comedy. Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids - Wikipedia You never really know the inner nature of some of these celebrities who look so upstanding from afar. |
Obviously he is a gifted man. However I always wondered about him. Something just didn't ring true.
IMHO most folks would be at least highly surprised if not shocked if they knew what many celebrities are like up close and personal - for better or for worse... |
The guy's got one foot in the grave, and the other on a banana peal, for God's sake, leave him alone. And as for that skank that testified against him, he couldn't have been THAT hard up. No way.:rant-rave:

Bill Cosby's "Himself" was in my view one of the most intelligent humorous monologues I have ever heard.
He was a role model for the black community . It is indeed sad that his life is ending on a sour note. but that is an issue between God and him. I would prefer to simply remember that wonderful monologue |
Bill Cosby spoke at my sons graduation from Wesleyan U. in Connecticut. His daughter was in the graduating class. There were about 4,000 people there. SRO. it was a beautiful and inspiring speech. That is how I prefer to remember him

What Andrea Constand’s Testimony Meant to the Other Cosby Accusers | Vanity Fair
This event happened in 2004. She is 44 now. Probably she was 31 when this allegedly happened and looked more attractive to some men at that time especially Bill Cosby. |

This is the first time I have chosen to speak out about that night. It is also the last time I intend to address it publicly. I have no plans to sue, I don’t want or need money. I have no plans for a press conference or for doing any interviews. He was a powerful person who used that power to drug and sexually assault women. It's easy for some to say the women should "just get over it" but it's a traumatic experience that they live with throughout their lives. He needs to face the consequences of his actions. |
We saw him at the Crystal Grand in The Dells of Wisconsin about 10 or so years ago. I was disappointed, as he didn't seem funny that night. I always had admired him (thought him to be funny in his t.v and movie appearances and a role model for his culture). I was skeptical when the news first came out BUT when 50 people step up and accuse a person there HAS to be truth to it. So sad for him to use his celebrity in that way. So sad for his wife and kids! So sad in many more ways. He needs to be held accountable.
|
The PC police kept him a role model for obvious reasons. He has been a cheating scum for decades and had a love child he hid.
|
it's inexplicable as to why he had to do that....drug and assault people. He was a well loved celebrity--I'm sure there were many willing women who would have been with him. It was all power and control. I also find his sudden onset of blindness and infirmity to be highly suspect and mostly theater. I also used to admire him greatly, but now I see him as a pathetic hypocrite.
