Surely not even Trump would be that stupid...would he?
|
Conflict of interest related to Muelller's relationship with scumbag loser, Comey. That should be enough reason. Besides, if there is no crime being investigated, why the special prosecutor? They didn't even have one for the felonies that Hillary committed.
|
Totally false story. Neither the president nor anyone in the administration said this. It has been picked up and now all of the media are talking about what would happen etc.

James Comey seems like a honorable and honest man put in bad positions by two rather dishonest politicians-- Hillary Clinton and Donald John Trump.

I have yet to hear Trump suggest that he might fire Mueller. Just because the Washington Post Pravda writes a story, does not make it fact. |

He is becoming the victim of what anyone who knows Trump is used to. If you disagree, he will try and destroy you. ALL of his biographers have said so. He will use whaatever means to disparage and destroy you PERSONALLY, not based on any facts. This is a mean spirited and vicious administration, and getting worse by the day. The performance yesterday in the cabinet meeting...floating a consideration of firing the special counsel, etc are simply tools that this President has used his entire life. He is now surrounded by people who feel entitled to use hate and conspiracy theories to accomplish what ever they want. Meanwhile those loyal followers are getting the screwing of their lives. If you read his budget proposals and his new Obama care replacement you would be shocked how screwed you are. Frankly, the entire Republican party should hang their head in shame. I am told that if the falling polls for Trump falls below 30% and it is dropping lower each week (36 last I checked), the party may just abandon him. WE will see. He is acting like a person who knows his time is short but we will see. In the meantime, we are the now the laughing stock of the entire world. Comey is a good man and a patriot and does not deserve this character assassination that is taking place, and am sure that Sessions will continue with it today. I just hope that someday that smoking gun is discovered and the good men and women of this country, who actually believe in this country can stand up with pride, because it will happen and the false machoism being displayed by he and his followers will suddenly disappear. Let us hope that happens sooner better than later for the good of this country. |

Comey was not respected by his subordinates that were involved in the Hillary email investigation. They had a case and he was intimidated by his superiors into advising against indictment. He is weak and should not be given a position of responsibility.

The administration has already begun to attempt to destroy yet another American in Mueller. The bad mouthing, as usual is personal and certainly not obstructed by facts.
I suppose everyone saw the whiplash from Gingrich on this. This would make it FOUR FOR FOUR. Four hardworking Americans trying to find the truth. Four fired. Why does the President not want the facts to come out ? Any other reason to be offered for this ? |

You have absolutely no proof of Comey's popularity/unpopularity within the FBI and are once again, out of paralyzing fear and desperation this time...lying your azz off. You have no credibility, you have no proof, you have no game and you're simply trying to emulate your demigod...the Liar & Bully In Chief. :ho: You're pathetic. :D Deepest Sincere Wishes:  |

"If, as is widely expected, Thursday’s Senate Intelligence Committee testimony by former FBI director James Comey revolves around his allegations that President Trump crossed many lines in trying to shut down the agency’s investigation of Michael Flynn’s Russia contacts, it appears Comey will have three powerful witnesses to his side of the story. According to a report from Murray Waas at Vox, within two days of Comey’s fateful meeting with Trump in the Oval Office, he relayed his account of what Trump asked him to do (or undo) to three top FBI associates: Deputy Director (and now Acting Director) Andrew McCabe; Chief of Staff Jim Rybicki; and General Counsel James Baker. McCabe, as it happens, is scheduled to testify before the same Senate Intelligence Committee today, though up until now probably no one knew he could pre-corroborate Comey’s testimony tomorrow. But whether or not the committee gets into this issue with McCabe, his and the other two men’s recollections and notes about the Comey-Trump meeting will be of great interest to special counsel Robert Mueller, who knows them all well. What makes the corroborating accounts so likely to come up when Comey testifies is the fact that Republicans on the committee apparently plan to make his failure to notify the Justice Department of Trump’s alleged indiscretions grounds for doubting his story. The meetings he held with his three subordinates were largely about that issue: One senior law enforcement official familiar with the matter said that Comey specifically sought legal advice from Baker about when and how to tell the DOJ about Trump pressing Comey to shut down the Russia probe. The same official said that Comey and Baker had more than one discussion about the matter, and that Baker almost certainly made extensive notes about those deliberations." http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer...p-meeting.html |

"As the White House scrambled to explain President Donald Trump’s sudden firing of FBI Director James Comey, one of the main reasons given was that the nation’s top law enforcement agent had lost the support of his own rank and file.
At best, that assertion has little basis in reality, according to the two people in the best position to know. More likely, they said, available anecdotal evidence suggests that it’s flat-out wrong." FBI agent groups dispute Trump’s rationale for Comey firing - POLITICO "(CNN)Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe Thursday rejected assertions by the White House that FBI employees had lost faith in James Comey and that the bureau's probe into Russian election meddling was one of its most minor concerns. He said Comey, who was fired by President Donald Trump on Tuesday, enjoyed "broad support within the FBI and still does to this day." He added, "The majority, the vast majority of FBI employees enjoyed a deep, positive connection to Director Comey." Acting FBI director contradicts White House on Comey - CNNPolitics.com |

Does such a relationship create an appearance of a conflict of interest? Yes Didn't Comey say under "oath" that he leaked information about his meeting with Trump IN ORDER TO FORCE A SPECIAL COUNSEL INVESTIGATION (B-I-N-G-O) Isn't there zero evidence thus far against Trump? yes. Isn't it likely that Putin and the gang have been playing with the Republicans, Democrats and the media to create this chaos and suspicious ? yes Isn't it likely that Putin and the boys at FSB are having a belly laugh especially since they have also bamboozled our intelligence community. Isn't the reason that Putin, et al have been able to pull this off so easily is because of the childish behavior of those parties involved? Yes Personal Best Regards: |
Has anyone noticed that despite Comey saying three times that Trump, personally was not under investigation.....all posts still post as if this was about Trump.
NOBODY on here seems to worry about a foreign power trying to mess with our elections. Their loyalty seems NOT to be with our country, but more to one person. Their concern seems to be about one person, not the country. Posters do not even manifest care about our country, and they don't seem to care if the campaign did something in regard to that attack. They care about Trump. Someday, people will wake up and see what this narrow vision and total disregard for our country is doing to us (USA) |

It seems that anyone and everyone who might investigate Trump or his campaign are labeled, isolated and attacked.
"WASHINGTON (AP) - High-profile supporters of President Donald Trump are turning on special counsel Robert Mueller, the man charged with investigating Russian interference in the U.S. election and possible collusion with Trump's campaign. As Mueller builds his legal team, Trump's allies have begun raising questions about the former FBI director's impartiality, suggesting he cannot be trusted to lead the probe. The comments come amid increasing frustration at the White House and among Trump supporters that the investigation will overshadow the president's agenda for months to come - a prospect that has Democrats salivating. Trump cannot directly dismiss Mueller. That decision would fall to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who testified Tuesday in a Senate budget hearing that he would only fire Mueller for good cause and has seen no evidence of that." Comey leaked his memos of the meetings with Trump, after he was fired. He did so after called him a liar, and Trump said Comey better hope that there weren't tapes on their conversation. Given Trump's attitude to everyone that works for him, who in the right mind wouldn't a special counsel investigating any connections between Trump, his associates, and the Russians. Wait, it wasn't a four hundred pound slug hacking into the DNC. It wasn't a DNC worked that was killed that leak information to WikiLeaks. It was the Russians. So, looking into who benefitted the most by the Russian hacking should not be going on. Let's just take the word of pathological liar, and drop the investigation. If you don't drop it, YOU'RE FIRED! |
