Republicans had 7 years to try and write a replacement bill for Obamacare. They didn't do it. Now, the GOP House voted and passed their version. The Senate said No. The Senate wrote theirs. Several Republican senators say No. It will not pass voting. The whole ing will have to be re-done as a compromise but that will take many, many months.

What happened to "On Day One, I will repeal and replace Obamacare! I have a so much better plan!"

And, just what have the Democrats proposed to fix the failings of Obamacare...NOTHING!

The Democrats have had seven years to FIX Obamacare so that it would not be a failure today. Their answer is to blame it on the Republicans. Push them enough and they will attempt to blame Bush. Americans know that Democrats have been planning to make us a European style socialist country and that their plan all along was to have Obiecare fail. And now they think they can blame the Republicans so they can regain political power. And that is why they are losers. They thought that ALL Americans were stupid lowlifes without a "proper" education.

Republicans lost their concentration on the goal. The Goal is to REPEAL Obiecare, period. Repeal it and then argue later as to how to replace it. You can't replace it with reconciliation.

Although passed in 2010, the Affordable Healthcare Act (some people call it ObamaCare) had a gradual startup. It wasn't until 2013 and 2014 that most of the provisions took place, your "seven years to FIX Obamacare" is an unjustifiable rant of your version of "alternative facts" (or lies as most intelligent people call them)
Read (that is if you are intelligent enough) the following link of the ACTUAL Obamacare benefits for ALL Americans. Then read the LA Times article on what the Trumpcare bill will do. Then, you may be equipped with ACTUAL information to make an argument. What a dumbass.

Excuse #1 – Few Americans are affected by ObamaCare premium hikes.

Excuse #2 – ObamaCare premium hikes don’t matter because we can subsidize them.
Excuse #3 –Premiums would be even higher if ObamaCare hadn’t passed.

Excuse #4 – Premiums are high because Republicans oppose ObamaCare.

Health insurance premiums have increased every year in the past. The first 4-5 years under the ACA was the lowest in history. What to take last year and try to sell that increases like this have been the norm, since the ACA started.

Why in the world would anyone support a pathological liar even if he is the president? In what world, can a liar be trusted? I guess that world would be Russia, China, Iraq, or North Korea, and now the US. OK, Republicans stand up and take a bow.

You should also consider, that healthcare COSTS (charges by the providers, i.e.: doctors, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies) have gone up an average of 24% per year. Insurance NEVER goes down or stays the same when COSTS go up.

This thread is reflective of the dialog going on across country about healthcare. Democrats are not offering any alternatives and costs associated with them. To the credit of republicans they are addressing the cost of current system to the federal government acknowledging it cannot continue but are doing it but limiting care by income. Neither party is addressing the real problem, the cost of healthcare delivery. It is not insurance cost, although it does play a part. The lobbying and money politicians receive for not taking on the for profit healthcare industry prevents an honest discussion.
