Probably not until the Democrats take the majority of the House and more people change their minds about Donald John Trump but that would mean they would have to accept that fact that they were wrong about him which is very hard for many people to do. Nixon still has a lot of fans for instance.

Love2Swim 07-15-2017 06:19 PM

He obviously should be impeached, but the Republican congress will be reluctant to do that to one of their own, unless he does something really drastic like murder someone.

The funny thing is that he seems far from the Reagan vision of a limited government in many areas. And he seems to be taking away from consumer protections and the like for the benefit of large businesses.

It's obvious that you do not know the definition of "impeach" or you would also understand that you can't impeach someone just because you do not like him.

Now I understand why Hillary had a following. Stupid people.

MDLNB 07-15-2017 07:26 PM

Gotta love it when some TROLL throws out a thread like this. First off, you do not know what "Impeach" means or you would not throw it out so easily.

Second, you have to have a crime that was committed. Give me the statute that Trump has violated while in office.

Third, you have to have a congressional majority willing to vote to impeach. Until you get a Democrat majority, there will be no impeachment.

Fourth, please keep throwing cr@p at the wall, expecting something to stick, because the more you do it the closer we get to the next election. This is a great way for you to lose more liberal seats in congress.

You know one of the side effects of Trump Derangement Syndrome is similar to dehydration. It comes on you quickly and you become very disoriented and your thinking is cloudy and illogical.

For instance the Democrats rather than working with the Administration to advance policy(s) that both sides could come to terms on ,for the benefit of their respective constituents, did this instead.

They went on the floor of Congress and read aloud all the e-mails pertaining to Donald Jr. meeting with Natalia.

Of course they didn't, well actually couldn't read any of the e-mails Hillary sent over her personal server on the floor of Congress because they were all TOP SECRET:D

And so like Pinocchio's all they play on the Island of Fun not noticing that they are growing ears and tails. Well I guess making an ass of yourself is appropriate in this case:D

Why is it that those who are afflicted with the real Trump Derangement Syndrome (the inability to admit that the POTUS is a lying, bigoted, misogynistic, egomaniacal gutter scumbag)...refuse to acknowledge actual facts?

Trump's ever-shrinking base, is primarily composed of those who would have also easily rallied behind...history's most despicable dictators/despots.

That they aren't smart enough to admit their mistake or accept actual facts, pretty much says it all about how their loyalty belongs to an egotistical real estate developer...and not to the interests of this great nation. :ohdear:

Chump's idol worship of Putin, is based on the fact that Putin has absolute control over Russia and Trump only wishes that he had the same over America/American's...as he did in his small real estate business.

Poll: Trump's six-month approval rating hits historic low

President Donald Trump has hit the lowest approval rating of any president during their first six months in office in 70 years, according to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll.

Poll: Trump's six-month approval rating hits historic low - POLITICO

Rockyrd 07-16-2017 07:46 AM

"President Trump’s standing with the American people has deteriorated since the spring, buffeted by perceptions of a decline in U.S. leadership abroad, a stalled presidential agenda at home and an unpopular Republican health-care bill, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

Approaching six months in office, Trump’s overall approval rating has dropped to 36 percent from 42 percent in April. His disapproval rating has risen five points to 58 percent. Overall, 48 percent say they “disapprove strongly” of Trump’s performance in office, a level never reached by former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama and reached only in the second term of George W. Bush in Post-ABC polling."

Poll finds Trump’s standing weakened since springtime - The Washington Post

Sandtrap328 07-16-2017 07:48 AM

1. Too early to be talking impeachment. Being brash, egotistical, a jerk, or having a huge disapproval rating are not impeachable grounds. Wait until Mueller and his committee has actually begun testimony from Trump's workers, family, staff and come to a conclusion.

2. Impeachment of a Republican president with a Republican Congress is a ridiculous thing to talk about.

3. Impeachment is the most serious of all political events. It cannot be taken lightly. No American President has been impeached and found guilty.

Mueller is the key. If he comes out with impeachable offensives, impeachment may be put forward. You need 2/3 of the Senate to impeach. Let's face it, Republican senators have no balls. They are so afraid of losing their seat that would sell their soul to the devil to keep it.

Trump would have to do something really stupid for them to go against him. So, there really is a chance, because Trump is that stupid.

Besides the Republican leaders in the Senate and House love Trump, or at least they will put up with him. Trump doesn't have a clue what he is doing. All the work is being done in the Houses. They are the ones in power. Trump is just there with pen in hand to sign everything they give him. Then he will wave the signed document like it was something he really worked hard on. The party after the signing is something everyone has to attend.

Point well taken. He can committ murder and unless the votes are there, he will not be impeached.

Good post and something both those for and against Trump need to understand.

My opinion is depends on what Mueller comes up with. We have never ever had a family running the country and. at this point, flirting with colluding with a foreign power, in history and that fact will make a huge difference.

If any of the innnuendos prove out and Trump even comes close to having the slightest of involvement, I cannot see any american citizen, especially one who is wanting votes NOT voting for impeachment.

I realize the base of Trump will not care......I have simply given up on anything but saying they are about as unamerican as any group can be.....but consorting with a foreign power is a bit outside every norm ever,

But you are correct, it will be based on what they have found proof of and then we go from there. There will be outrage from the alt right radical extremist who are anti america, but I feel confident that would fall on deaf ears, although as I said many months ago.....Trump will not go easy. He is totally unamerican and in his mind....america is his

What I do not understand is that Donald John Trump is clearly for big business and his billionaire friends when judged from his actions. This man is not for the ordinary Republican Joe or Jane. His is a kleptocracy. A rule by the rich for the rich. Trump is ushering in a kleptocracy. That's why he is being sued | Joshua Matz | Opinion | The Guardian

And so would ANY of the R presidential candidates. So would Hillary. That's WHAT THEY DO...the politicians work for those who paid the $ billion it costs to win a presidential election.

George W tried to play by the rules and conducted himself civilly graciously and with class and what did it get him?

Mitt Romney also tried to play it straight was gracious, civil a gentlemen's gentleman and what did it get him?

Obama always the charmer but in the manner of a "snake charmer" and look what it got him Adoration from the press, Hollywood...why it even sent a chill up Chris Matthews leg. but none of the aforementioned seem to want to talk about the mess he left us in.

Well now we have a street brawler in the White House that makes no pretense nor apologies...and in today's American political landscape that is the only way one can survive and thrive.

The people that voted for this loser of a operson are the stupid ones. Talk about being rubes. Trump is about making things easier for himself and his rich buddies. Very little if that will trickle down to the average Joe. As far as impeachment, anyone who is literate and reads or listens to the news can see that Trump is flirting with impeachment. Using his power to impede Comey's investigation, then firing Comey when he wouldn't go along with it, is clear obstruction of justice. Then add in possible colliusion with the Russians - you certainly have to have your head buried in the sand if you don't think there is something wrong with this behavior. It is clearly an escalating pattern of misconduct, which has been grounds for impeachment in the past. It will be interesting to see what Mueller comes up with. If his investigation confirms what we are seeing in the media as far as obstruction of justice and Russian collusion, it will come down to Congress. Can they forego the intense partisan loyalty of Republicans and do the right thing, what is best for the country?

You have to remember that the Right Wing Nuts who post on (and read) The Talk Of The Villages are not indicative of the nation as a whole.

You have Don Baldwin (publisher of a white supremacist site), Rubicon (a fool), MDLNB, (an ignorant nut job), and Dirtbank. None of these are playing with a full deck - but have their First Amendment Rights to their lunacy.

You found the black villages? That 99% black neighborhood of 150,000 just like the villages?

You found the black MIT or Oxford equivalent?

You found the black Einstein or Newton?

You found a black country that doesn't suck?

Yes...we use the same arguments because you haven't answered us. WHERE IS this equality of which you speak? I don't see it anywhere. I see every time you get more blacks...things get worse.

You keep telling us we're wrong...but NEVER offer anything to PROVE it. I keep SHOWING you the inequality. I can show you right now...lets take a trip to MLK Blvd...we'll see how different they are from us. Lets take a trip to a mostly black high school...We'll again see how different they are from us. We can go ANYWHERE there are a majority of blacks and see how different they are from us.

What is your criteria for calling them equal? What DOES "equal" mean to you? I always figured it was the capability to do the same things. Blacks CAN'T do the same things as white people. 150 years have proved it, they're STILL needy and require direction, they STILL can't take care of themselves. WHY?

noslices1 07-17-2017 05:50 AM

I seriously hope that the Democrats keep up this "impeach" talk about Trump. Their party is imploding, and I predict the Republicans will take another 9 or 10 Senate seats and another dozen or so House seats in 2018. I love it when a plan comes together.

If he posts anything offensive on the Regular Forum COMPLAIN so that is the end of his posting privileges. He deserves to be kicked off of TOTV.

I do not like Donald Baldwin's racism but he does have a First Amendment right to say stuff that makes him look like an ignorant man. But Allegiance's persistent harassment of me is breaking the laws of the State of Florida.
