I like Jif.

Here is my fav. Toast a piece of dense, slightly sweet Pepperidge Farm Oatmeal bread. Spread a dense layer of peanut butter and then sprinkle lightly with plain ole sugar.

Eat while still melty. Yum.

Villager Joyce 07-24-2017 06:32 AM

Crunchy Jif on toasted bread with grape jelly. BTW, GG's soundsfabulous.

P.S. I eat powdered peanut butter so who knows.

CFrance 07-24-2017 06:41 AM

I used to eat peanut butter and (the crunchy part of iceberg) lettuce sandwiches. Also pb & potato chip sandwiches. My husband likes Elvis' peanut butter, mayo & sliced banana mushy sandwiches on white, yuk.

Spoon right out of the jar, while watching TV.

Memories of my (skinny) mother.

Toast with peanut butter with bacon. And I mean real bacon not that turkey stuff. No banana though. The Elvis Sandwich (Grilled Peanut Butter, Bacon, and Banana) Recipe | Serious Eats

Peanut Butter on toast with sliced banana and honey drizzled on top!

mrsanborn 07-24-2017 09:29 AM

Smuckers Natural creamy with honey on toasted Martins potato bread topped off with Smuckers concord grape jelly. Or, just on a spoon right out of the jar.

Ecuadog 07-24-2017 09:34 AM

Skippy Super Chunk peanut butter on a Ritz cracker with Hero Bitter Orange marmalade.

Rapscallion St Croix 07-24-2017 09:55 AM

PB, Banana, and Blue Plate mayo in a large soft tortilla wrap.

roob1 07-24-2017 09:58 AM

Whole Foods Natural...peanuts and salt...no sugar or oils added.

fred53 07-24-2017 11:00 AM

Smart Balance. On toast.

redwitch 07-24-2017 12:41 PM

In the trash can and then have a yummy BLT. Can never get past the PB smell.

ping 07-24-2017 01:26 PM

Teddy....read the label.....just ground peanuts...no added, salt, sugar, nothing but peanuts. Love it on bread with sliced bananas!

Jima64 07-24-2017 04:19 PM

Any pb on a graham cracker.

Teddie peanut butter on just about anything. I noticed the Publix at Grand Traverse now has it in stock. I have also purchased it at Walmart in Leesburg.

batman911 07-24-2017 06:44 PM

Peanut butter on toast with scrambled egg and bacon. Makes a great breakfast sandwich.

Aloha1 07-24-2017 07:41 PM

The kind where you have to mix it up to get the oil blended into the peanuts. Like we grew up with. Back then it was just called "peanut butter". Now it's called "organic" and they charge 50% more for it.

kcrazorbackfan 07-24-2017 08:59 PM

Peter Pan on Sara Lee Honey Wheat drizzled with honey; it's what I have most mornings on the way to work or golf. Peanut butter - the glue that holds this body together.

dillywho 07-24-2017 09:43 PM

Smooth Jif by the spoonful with my Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt. My kitty patiently waits for me to finish, so she can lick the spoon and container. I always save her a little of the peanut butter, along with some yogurt and then she polishes off the container. Don't even have to rinse it to put into the recycle bag.:a20:

justjim 07-24-2017 09:57 PM

Frankly I can't tell any difference in the brands of peanut butter. Right now our pantry contains Smooth Jif reduced fat. Peanut butter with a bit of grape jelly on a toasted piece of sourdough bread taste really really good.

Just bought a jar of low sodium at Publix. It is really good. Dipped no fat pretzels--that's it. :MOJE_whot:

Rapscallion St Croix 07-25-2017 09:46 AM

I always add peanut butter to my banana chocolate smoothies and to my oatmeal.

manaboutown 07-25-2017 10:58 AM

I prefer smooth unsalted Trader Joe's peanut butter made from organic Valencia peanuts. I will not eat a peanut butter containing hydrogenated vegetable oil or other such grease additives. I like peanut butter on celery sticks as well as on whole wheat toast with sliced green olives.

We all like Jif Crunchy peanut butter. I like mine on Wonder bread, my husband's favorite way to eat it since we moved to the Villages is on Publix breakfast bread, our kids like it on a banana or half an apple or celery with raisins on top (ants on a log).
