President Trump's people are doing a great job responding to the Texas disaster. He is scheduled to be there on Tues, do I do not see why there is any problem with his response. If he goes any earlier, he will just get in the way and cause people to pulled off of rescue in order to support his visit. But some folks are so full of hate for him that they will complain about anything he does. Even the Democrats in D.C. are praising his action. Too bad some folks can't get over their humiliating election loss.

Kind of hard for President Trump to get any of his appointments confirmed by congress.

They are doing a good job whoever appointed them.

Right. Because many Members of Congress see him for what he is-- a con man out for his own and his family's bank accounts.

Oh? looks like all his appointees have been approved...he has not yet even made a nominee for FEMA...you must be thinking of Obama and the Congress ignoring his nominees

It's also good news that Trump’s proposed budget hasn’t kicked in, because it would cut the Federal Emergency Management Administration’s (FEMA) state and local program grants by $767 million, or about 30 percent, and cut HUD’s disaster relief by $3 billion.
Talent on the ground is critical. Money to pay for it, and help victims of natural disasters, is as important.
Oh, and did I mention that hurricanes are increasing in intensity because of climate change, and that Trump's EPA is busy eliminating regulations to help stop it, and that he also pulled out of the Paris accord?
