NOT Irma Thread - Square One
 

My husband and I ate at SquareOne yesterday. Both had three little pigs (pulled pork sliders) with onion rings. Delicious 😋

Sounds good. We will try to get take out tonight for someone's BD today. I will have to brave the weather though to get it.

Count on us as fans of Square One. Christina is a server/bar person whom we always ask for when we stop there to eat. She is one of the best servers we have had throughout the various restaurants we have eaten at here.

We go their often. DH likes the Juicy Lucy, and I often get the Cobb Salad. One of the best Cobb Salads I've had - nicely arranged, fresh and crisp.

I love the food there also, their burgers are the best. BUT, I do wish they would renovate and brighten the place up a bit. It is so dingy and dreary inside and looks like it needs a good cleaning.

Glad to see positive reviews.

Went there twice and wasn't pleasant, not returned for over a year.

I'll give it another try.

We also ate there last week and was very happy with the food and service. They have improved a great deal. Still not happy with their dog policy, but at least they stay outside where I don't have to watch them eat and do other things to themselves. I will certainly be back again. Also, Joe is good bartender.

We always wait until Black Friday to get our gift certificates because they give you 2 $20 gift cards also. So, it makes going to Sq one very reasonable.

We were there Friday night. Great food, great service and Joe is a great bartender.

We go there every Thursday (Thirsty Thursday) and enjoy $3.00 Stellas. We generally have Christina as our bartender/server and she is wonderful (and efficient). The food is always delicious. You get what you pay for and more. The spicy Egg Rolls as an appetizer are scrumptious, and if you're not a hamburger person, the salmon is among the best I've ever had, anywhere, at any price.

We ate there during grand opening, back when you waited outside on the sidewalk until the hostess called your name. It seemed OK, but hard to judge a place when it's packed. The $10 burger didn't seem any better than the $8 Chilis "Old Timer Burger", actually that one is really good.

We waited about a year and half and tried them again. That's when I got the impression that mixsonci had, that the place seemed dingy and dreary and needed to be brighten up a bit. It was also on a cooler cloudy day and they had the A/C turned on so much that the place seemed like a meat locker and there was moisture on the windows. Couldn't wait to finish the meal and get out of there. Then I read in the paper a week later that a waitress was arrested for stealing $4,000 from the place. Made me think, their management must not be very good to allow that to happen.

My neighbor and golfing partner really likes the place, so I guess we could give them another try, what's there to lose. We might have one drawback in that we don't drink alcohol when we eat out, I just don't enjoy that. There was time but that time had passed.
