NFL thought
U idiots who want to take a knee. Take a knee in churches and Thank God you live in this great country of ours that Allowed you to make the millions you do for playing a sport. Taka a knee next to the coffin of a real man who died serving his country so trash like u could protest our anthem. We will no longer watch or support you and will teach our grandchildren about respect and what a real Role Model is. Boycott NFL. They are stinking up the fields. Trump is right again. Fire you All !

Boycott the NFL? With the billions of dollars spent by sports fans? You must be daft! If The Trumpanzee cannot get his Mexican Wall paid for by the US (after promising Mexico would pay for it), cannot repeal or replace ACA, cannot explain a tax reform that will work, YOU think he can get an effective boycott on NFL? You definitely are daft! |

What the players and sportscaster are bringing to sports is division. What sports fans want is entertainment and unity. They do not pay to watch sports for political reasons or to watch over paid man-children throw tantrums and acts of disrespect. The NFL commissioner is over paid $30 million dollars a year and he can't keep his players in check and he does not have the guts to deal fairly and effectively with players like Tom Brady that was about as innocent in the crime he was alleged to have committed than OJ Simpson Personal Best Regards: |

Take, most not all, strong stupid uneducated uneducable kids, many have abused drugs of all types, put them on a pedistil in a university setting and this is what you get.
I have predicted this push back by the public against thug sports. This kneeling is just the catalyst. |
That's amusing that some people are claiming the the NFL has no fans left due to the asinine ravings of that orange clown in the White House. List of National Football League attendance figures - Wikipedia

I will not watch pro football until the owners put a muzzle and leash on these steroid saturated apes. Quit playing the National Anthem and then see how they protest. On the field if they do anything UN-sportsman-like, they get a fine. Let them do their protest on the field. Let them pay for it. |
Liberals have no clue about the constitution. Look at antifa.
Your boss can tell you to shut up or be fired. Any of you ever read an nfl contract? Trouble is many liberals were never employed. |

Here's another pointless liberal post, substantiated by facts and figures: Did you know that 85% of wealth in the USA is held by the top 20% of the wealthy? The rest of us share the leftover 15%. Republicans and their "trickle down" economy are responsible for this.

Time to support our President. Boycott all professional sports until all owners and players toe the President's line. In fact maybe we should consider who we play golf with, who we allow in our church, and which neighborhood we live in. Opposing points of view have no place when we know we're right. Time to remove ourselves from these bums. Either these people are "good Americans" or not. If you're not a Trump supporter time to consider another country.

What is your point and how dies it relate to the nfl? Very easily sidetracked, you and Tal:) |
I actually have a bigger problem with the 2 not 1 Presidents of the past (one on 9/16/1974 Ford with restrictions, second on 1/21/1977 Carter removing restrictions) pardoning 210,000 DRAFT DODGERS who either burned their draft cards refused to serve, go to Canada or Deserting, during the Viet Nam Conflict.. How do you think our Viet Nam Vets felt? What about Hanoi Jane how much money does she make a year? How many of you go to see her movies or watch Janes Netflex Hit Show? What about the beloved Cassius Clay - DRAFT DODGER who went on to become Muhammad Ali, his conviction was over turned because he became a Muslim. He's to me is still a draft dodger, what was his net worth, was he shunned? How were our MEN IN UNIFORM treated when they retuned home from Viet Nam? These are the things that bother me and still bother me! If any of you Evading Draft Dodgers are living in the Villages now my advice to you is SHUT UP, you're still scum!

The statements, including those from Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, contrasted a morning tweet from Trump and further escalated the political drama of the league's game day, which was expected to be one of the most-watched for non-sporting reasons in years. Bisciotti said he "100 percent" supports his players' decision to kneel during the national anthem. At least seven of them did, joined by more than a dozen Jacksonville Jaguars, before the teams played at Wembley Stadium in London. Other players linked arms — and Jaguars owner Shad Khan joined them, standing between tight end Marcedes Lewis and linebacker Telvin Smith. He called it a privilege to do so Well it obvious that for the NFL money means more than honor and respect. and so the Antfa tactics prevail at the NFL Personal Best Regards: |

And the Chicago Bears stood for the National Anthem. Kudos to the Bears for being good examples for our children by showing respect for our Country, Flag, National Anthem and our Military. I say this because it is rare that I can say anything positive about that city and I am glad to see something good coming from it for a change. The Bears have my respect, whether they win or lose the game.

Google it, you'll see them holding up their kills disgusting! I too think you COULD stand for 3 lousy minutes, but I do not think kneeling is a disgrace. Can't tell you the hockey games I've been to when I have seen men NOT remove their hats, durning the NA. |
NFL Rule Book Section 4 Article 8
Throughout the period on game-day that a player is visible to the stadium and television audience (including in pregame warm-ups, in the bench area, and during postgame interviews in the locker room or on the field), players are prohibited from wearing, displaying, or otherwise conveying personal messages either in writing or illustration, unless such message has been approved in advance by the League office. Items to celebrate anniversaries or memorable events, or to honor or commemorate individuals, such as helmet decals, and arm bands and jersey patches on players’ uniforms, are prohibited unless approved in advance by the League office. All such items must relate to team or League events or personages. The League will not grant permission for any club or player to wear, display, or otherwise convey messages, through helmet decals, arm bands, jersey patches, or other items affixed to game uniforms or equipment, which relate to political activities or causes, other non-football events, causes or campaigns, or charitable causes or campaigns. Further, such armbands and jersey patches must be modest in size, tasteful, noncommercial, and non-controversial; must not be worn for more than one football season; and if approved for use by a specific team, must not be worn by players on other teams in the League. |
