Trump should replace Jeff Session with Rudy Guiliani
|
I always like the idea of Guilliani as AG from the beginning and was disappointed that the president didn't appoint him.
But I thought that Sessions would also do a good job. The problem with Sessions, even though he seems to be on the right side of things, is that he's still a part of the Washington establishment. Senators will protect each other even if they are of opposite parties. Some feel that prosecuting another senator brings shame on the Senate. Guilliani has no Washington connections. He is not part of the swamp. He did an incredible job cleaning up New York City and would make a great AG. |
Sessions made a mistake by recusing himself from the Russian investigation. This has caused a problem of control on the witch hunt and it is now a runaway train that can't be stopped without derailing the train. Sessions is a good man. Since this is a mess, he could think about resigning for the sake of the country. Rudi would probably make a good AG.

I agree. Rudy would have been perfect. I can't wait for trumps second term.

How do you arrive at a "witch hunt" because congress is investigating the attack on our country by a foriegn country to manipulate the election ? How did you arrive at it as a witch hunt, and then why would you not support such an investigation ? Seems every real american should want it investigated and dealt with....oh, sorry.....100% of every investigative unit knows and proclaimed Russia as guilty but our President opposed any action against them and only signed it under extreme pressure. |

We are not speaking of buying ads in other countries, but actual manipulation of votes casts by United States Citizens. If you cannot understand the difference, which does not mean I endorse anythig, but if you cannot see the difference, and will not even show concern for such an intrusion in our provess along with the proliferation of fake news to brain was people like you. If all this is your position, you are anti American. If you, and your leader find acceptable this kind of thing. If you find an investigation into this somehow offensive, or a hoax, you obviously are a different American than I. If your concern is riveted on defending one man, and because of that you find this investigation to be anything than patriotic and necessary, you are not an America...simply a big mouth. I suggest you read, and perhaps your uninformed rankings will become fear once you see what you are supporting |
Trump should replace Trump with Giuliani

"Its A Political Witch Hunt"
The intent of the "so called Russian connection" depends on your politic. Realpolitik would be a serious unbiased review of the influence Russia has or may have on election and their effective interference.
In order to do so all parties would cooperate and provided the needed documentation required by the various agencies and special prosecutor demanded. any and all investigation would not ignore any piece of evidence that lends itself to throwing suspicion on any individual. but that is not what is happening. The left has withheld pertinent information from congressional hearing. Judicial Watch. the special prosecutor has ignored people like Hillary & bill Clinton, and Barrack Obama. Despite many months and thousands of pages of documents and hundreds of witnesses being interviewed no one scintilla of evidence points to Trump but there has been mounting evidence leaning toward Obama and yt the special prosecutor, MSM and the left just blink and deflate. Its in essence a "political witch hunt" for the sole purpose of sabotaging Trump's efforts. Identity politics is destroying this nation and its behind every effort of radical lefties Personal Best Regards: |

As a beginning, but of course, the media is making all of this up. And of course, all these folks have a syndrome of some kind. It certainly cannot be true in anyway, and most of you don't even care if it's true.
Senate Intelligence Committee leaders: Russia did interfere in 2016 elections - The Washington Post "“There is consensus among members and staff that we trust the conclusions of the ICA,” Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), the committee’s chairman, said at Wednesday news conference, referring to the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia was behind hackings of the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign director John Podesta’s email account and had attempted to exploit public opinion by sowing false information, much of it through fake social media accounts. “But we don’t close our consideration of it,” he added. Burr also said that “the issue of collusion is still open” and would not be resolved until the committee’s work was done. He said that a deadline for the committee was the looming start of the 2018 primary season." New details about Facebook, Russia, 2016 election raise questions - Business Insider " Facebook ads purchased by Russian operatives during the 2016 election targeted certain demographic groups and geographic locations, raising new questions about how foreign actors were able to home in on key voters in swing states by exploiting the same advertising tools used by American political operatives last year." |
Who cares, right. This is all a hoax. Build a wall to make our country safe is what we need.
"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Russian government-backed hackers stole highly classified U.S. cyber secrets in 2015 from the National Security Agency after a contractor put information on his home computer, two newspapers reported on Thursday. As reported first by The Wall Street Journal, citing unidentified sources, the theft included information on penetrating foreign computer networks and protecting against cyber attacks and is likely to be viewed as one of the most significant security breaches to date." Imagine they concluded something that everyone knew was going on for 70 years.
Imagine with all the leaks, still no collusion. Rockhead answered as predicted. Lol Not answering the question |

The investigation, spurred by EVERY SINGLE intelligence unit in this country and around the world is into DID AND HOW WAS OUR ELECTION POSSIBLY COMPROMISED BY THE RUSSIAN INTRUSTION You and obviously Trump care only about HIS involvement, which is to be determined. HE cares only about himself and how it affects him. You have your head in the sand big time if you believe that Trump puts our country before he and his family. He is using our country and conning all of you. You absolutely do not care, nor does your President, about what is happening or could happen to this country. Your concern, and his, is totally as to how this might bother HIM personally. To your comment about him loving America, I can only say we have never had such an openly anti american president that I can recall. He attacks all of our institutions and does it publicly and on a world stage much to our country's embarrasment. He ridicules investigations in to how a foreign government might have infiltrated our election process and that is ANTI AMERICAN behaior of large proportions. |

For me....served six years in the US Navy. Stationed at the Pentagon, White House and a few other locations (including a short stay in Vietnam) After serving, I was active in state and national politics in Pennsylvania for many many years. I received a number of awards for community services in Pennsylvania. I have met a few Presidents while working in the WH. Spoke almost daily with the JCS chairman in the Pentagon (ADM Arleigh Burke). All in the past. Times have changed, but my love of country has not. Your love of one man over country is obvious and that is not an avenue I can travel ever. i resent a foreign government intruding into our election, something you obviously find funny and not of any consequence. I value honesty and morals above all. In my time in politics, I worked for BOTH parties. Democrats until early 70's when I changed parties because of a philosophy difference, Republicans until this past convention when I found the party turning its back on morality and respect. The constant mentioning of Obama and Clinton as an excuse for the behavior of our current President has totally validated my leaving the Republican party. |

I did visit with his wife quite a bit as she was much easier to talk to while at various Crispers' meetings of TOTV people. I see him in the Villages' parades often. Just seeing if you and he are familiar with one another? I mean the guy who used to work at the White House and from my knowledge of him seems to be a Republican. You would also know the NYPD retiree as well? And a large number of other people who have been a SPORT about things. |
