Someone should take Twitter away from Donald John Trump permanently.

I respectfully disagree in full strenuously. It is the perfect answer to the opening volley from Our Presidents Arch Nemesis. Screw that. Glad to see someone with a set of BALL'S who ain't taking this garbage talk from an insect. I rest my case.:popcorn: Let's see what B.S. answer you've got. :1rotfl: You crack me up! I hope he Tweets this guy into a mistake.

I disagree.

It allows us to see what he really thinks...and what a lowlife, Un-American scumbag he really is.

It WAS pretty funny though, watching him publicly walk back and swallow his tweets about how he believes Putin...over our intelligence communities.

Especially interesting is how he tried to justify his bromance tweet of Putin, by slamming previous intelligence heads...but then praising HIS intelligence heads who have ALSO said Russia interfered.

I think it took someone to privately point out to Chump, that by saying he believed Putin...he was throwing his own appointees under the bus also.

His original narcissistic twitch never even took that into account...until someone lectured him like the petulant 7 year old he is.

I mean fer cripes sake, whoever thought that any leader of this great nation...could ever be such a lying moron? :ohdear:

At least we have his tweets...to show us. :D

Kenswing 11-12-2017 06:17 PM

You act like he's the first lying president. He's just not very good at it. Most of the previous Liars in Chief were lawyers. They are much more professional liars.. Trump is an amateur.

I agree that there's never been a POTUS, or even a politician...that hasn't lied about something, or at some time.

HOWEVER, the heights and volume to which this one has risen in his lies, crudeness and crassness...is totally unprecedented. :ohdear:

I certainly don't disagree. But there's also never been a president put under more scrutiny. Although that can be at least partially attributed to his behavior.. lol

I agree with the latter (I think it's ALL due to his behavior)...but not the former.

As far as "scrutiny," I don't recall any other POTUS ever having everything from his schooling to birthplace...so constantly lied about.

I am not usually this aggressive, but I am po'ed on so many levels.

You speak of Trump as if he is a child. He is the President of the United States. He speaks for all of us.

Yet, he is so unpatriotic and unamerican. He actually accused his predessor of wire tapping him....he has fired THREE people because they were investigating HIM. ALL IN LESS THAN A YEAR.
And that is simply a beginning...what he has done and said on this trip is flat out inexcusable. Obama was blistered for bowing once.....

And you say there has never been a President under such scrutiny, and it is not "partially" due to his behavior. He had a chance to govern...he chose not to, and each day it is like he has gone over the edge.

His demeaning of the media because they quote him is simply bizarre.

If Republicans did not control congress, we all know where this would be.

He cannot be of sound mind...to look into a camera that he knows is being broadcast all over the world and just lie is unforgivable for any leader. The world watches this crap...I want to respect the presidency, but he has lowered that office and robbed it of the trust that used to be inherent....maybe permanently.

While I believe a majority of conservatives such as yourself believe this, the real travesty is the dearth of the ones with enough integrity and ethics...to speak out publicly about it. :ohdear:

And other than getting emotional, how does his or any president's behavior change your everyday life?

My life has changed very little over the years due to what or who the president was. I have much more control over my life than the president does. I just can't get as worked up about this stuff as you do. I'm successful because of the steps I've taken in my life. I adjust to what the government does accordingly.

And to say you're usually not this aggressive? I beg to differ.

Ken...it's a SLOW steady change...it takes decades...it's multi-generational. America has been slowly sliding...slowing slipping...slowly getting worse. From #1 in the last 1950s to #25 now...and falling.

America becomes a Mexico II in 30 years. It's a mathematical certainty.

Easy to answer for me. I love my country. I have served military and in the political arena about my entire adult life.

Each day that goes by with Trump in the White House.....the standards of behavior just get lower, the division in the country gets wider, the blemish inside the seat of our government grows, the very real potential for major cultural divisions become more real. The image our children have if our country diminishes, the respect for our country around the world diminishes, each tweet and they go round the world where he speaks for all of us simply makes us a joke. People may not have liked us, but they had some respect..it is almost all gone. His attacks on the media, as attacks like that did about 80 years ago in another country will take their toll, trust is gone.

They are of huge concern for ME. I can speak to what he could have accomplished without his self indulgence, but obviously that would bore you.

I want to be proud of my country. I want to use our President as a goal for grandchildren. I want to look at our country not as perfect or even close, but the best there is. I cannot do any if that.

Mock me if you wish, but that is important to me.

The agressiveness you read, and I will "chill" is fear because whether it has affected your life directly or not, it has affected many and will affect your children and grand children.

Sorry for the length and sorry for caring about my country.

Trump went bankrupt so many times no bank would lend him a dime. He was laundering Russian cash through his properties as far back as the 1990s. Mueller has hired some top guns in money laundering law. The Russians are blackmailing Trump, and the pee pee tape they have on him is the least of his problems. I know you are making fun and that is ok.

I cannot see our country surviving more than another year without a severe constitutional crisis.

The lack of concern about the cyber attack, which still continues and the bots being used as we clearly heard about last week in congress are of concern.

Having an administration more concerned about HIM means we must rely on this investigative group to get the facts and make them public as soon as it can happen.

That you are so blasé about, I think the last count was 12, of this administration and transfer team being involved in treasonous and other activities with ONE single country and continuing to lie about it simply adds to my concern.

If American citizens cannot see the danger in this, then maybe it is already over.

Wont bother with items that you feel are trivial. He gets richer each day because he lied about ethics, lied about divesting.

Trying to neutralize free media access, sowing discord, lack of honesty to citizens has a famaliar ring to it, and will simply pray our children and grand children will not replay history.

"Then came the weekend.

In a stream of tweets on Sunday, the president said those who wanted to investigate his ties to Russia were “haters and fools,” ridiculed “crooked” Hillary Clinton’s ill-fated effort to reset relations with Russia and fired back at North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, for calling him old, saying that he could call Mr. Kim “short and fat” — but had restrained himself.

That followed a freewheeling session with reporters on Air Force One on Saturday, in which Mr. Trump dismissed the Russia investigation as a Democratic “hit job” and derided as “political hacks” three former chiefs of the nation’s intelligence agencies, all three of which concluded that Russia had meddled in the 2016 presidential election."

I've just learned to not get too wound up over things I can't change. I can determine how I live my life. I can't determine how others live there's. And I surely have no say on what goes on in Washington.

All I can do is prepare and adjust for what life delivers. It's easier to keep my blood pressure under control that way.

rubicon 11-13-2017 05:41 AM

what was that line in the movie? Oh yea "you can't handle the truth". Many posters seem to hold what trump says in great disdain and describing him as a low-life, etc.

Yet what he has done with the Washington Establsihment, the news media , the UN and foreign nations is simply been honest about their corruption, greed dishonesty and inability to act. Trump has gotten China, the UN to act on North Korea, He has exposed the liberal media for what they are. he told the truth about the lousy Iran deal the lousy Paris Accord, etc

he has the corrupt greedy power hungry politicians on the run and they can't contain themselves.

when he visited China the Chinese people referred to him as Uncle Donald, strong Donald and emperor Donald. Leave it to people who lived oppression to recognize the benefit of such a man. but you will never hear that from the liberal media
