Anyone know of restaurants in or near The Villages open Christmas day?

It may be worth your while to go back and read some of the experiences from Villagers who dined at restaurants on Thanksgiving.

Not sure if I attached the link correctly but if you key into search engine - thevillagesgourmetclub.com and choose search entire data base and then at the bottom under special interests choose open Christmas Day, I believe it will give you what you are looking for.

I guess I did it correctly. Choose select special interest (bottom left), open Christmas Day and hit search.

Do yourself a favor, if you want a traditional turkey/ham dinner, just order it from Publix. For the most part, the country clubs here serve lunchmeat, and you will be hardpressed to find a few people who thought it was a good meal.
Go off campus. Stumpknockers and many fantastic restaurants serve really good food if you don't have your heart set on turkey or ham.
Check the villages gourmet club as requested above. And DEFINITELY make reservations. Stumpknockers books over 400 reservations that day and they are booked out 2 weeks ahead.

Great quote from the classic movie The Christmas Story. Remember TBS runs a 24 hour marathon of the movie Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

TooJays at Brownwood had a sign out front with their Christmas Day hours. I can't remember what they were but they will be open.

Rose Plantation sent me an email that they will be open Christmas Day for set price dinner - $75 per person!

Now, I am sure it will be wonderful, but you can get a lot of food for $75 per person in your own home!

The email I got was for New Years Eve. I do not think they are open for Xmas.
