I am so angry that our elected politicians have made America into one of the most corrupt countries in the world. What in the hell are we leaving for our grandchildren ???

A very large debt, more global warming due to increased pollution, more terrorism, and nations run by corporate boards.

Don't worry, once the justice department is deswamped, all will be better.

If you think that the US is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, you really should try living in a third world country for a year. Then you might start to understand what corruption really is.

That is not the standard most people should aspire to but Donald John Trump seems to do that.

Consider how amazing it is that the President of the United States is attacking, over and over again, the Attorney General, the Justice Department, the FBI––calling them biased, calling them incompetent, saying ‘a lot of people’ are upset about it. You know who ‘a lot of people’ are? ‘A lot of people’ are the people who watch Fox News. Other than that, a lot of people are actually not upset about this investigation. That’s shown over and over again in the polls.

I share your thoughts. What bothers me more is that starting in 1965 and moving forward students have been so indoctrinated with social justice crap and the benefits of socialism that they don't know any better. How can you reverse course when today's young people haven't even been schooled properly in critically thinking

I have met many people in law schools and philosophy classes quite capable of critical thinking. Trump fans though often leave a lot to be desired in that area.

Coming from the guy who’s posts consist of 90% “Recording” and 10% birthday announcements.

And everyone he met in law school went on to have successful careers. Even all the other subjects in the unemployment study got jobs.

I also share your feeling but there is not enough of us to move needle. This so called Tax Reform is as good an example of this corrupt government. What started out as a revenue neutral reduction of corporate taxes by closing loopholes and unfair deductions turned into a big give away for votes and campaign contributions with our grandchildren paying the price. Anyone who cannot see that isn’t interested in their grandchildren’s futures.

As to the critical thinking issue, instead of educators instructing students at every level as to the art of argumentation they continue preaching on the manta of victimization. While the parallels of the putrefied situation in our current White House are eerily similar to the end of the Nixon era...there is one huge difference.

In Nixon's day, the overwhelmingly majority of Americans (from both parties) actually put the country first...over the individual occupying the office.

That he pulled this off with only about 80,000 votes in key electoral states, while losing the popular voted by about 3 million, shows a certain cunning and an understanding that his supporters are more swayed by a pathetic celebrity of a reality show host...than the long-term viability of this relatively young nation.

Make no mistake about it, the constant adulation that drives this narcissistic sociopath by a need of constant adulation (with the potential of suffering the consequence, should they not constantly play the ultimate sycophant)...is something only third world dictators demand.
