From this link....

"The reckoning upon us follows a year mercifully drawing to a close this weekend. Over that horrid year, President Trump has questioned the legitimacy of federal judges, used Stalinist barbs to attack the free press and cast contempt on the rule of law, while his campaign manager, his national security adviser and a foreign policy aide have been marched into federal courts. Those anti-democratic instincts were made all the more ominous by his praising of autocrats across the world as they were ruthlessly consolidating power in countries such as Russia, China and the Philippines."

"World leaders continue to watch dumbstruck as the United States retreats from organizations that were created following the allies’ victory over Hitler. Those same alliances that Trump now undermines with reckless tweets and discarded treaties carried the United States to victory in the Cold War. But this is a White House that heaps contempt on history. And so, America’s dangerous retreat from the world continues."

Unbelievable but true. This is from a letter written in August of 1792....1792 by Alexander Hamilton. Strikes close to home and very current

The truth unquestionably is, that the only path to a subversion of the republican system of the Country is, by flattering the prejudices of the people, and exciting their jealousies and apprehensions, to throw affairs into confusion, and bring on civil commotion. Tired at length of anarchy, or want of government, they may take shelter in the arms of monarchy for repose and security.

Those then, who resist a confirmation of public order, are the true Artificers of monarchy—not that this is the intention of the generality of them. Yet it would not be difficult to lay the finger upon some of their party who may justly be suspected. When a man unprincipled in private life desperate in his fortune, bold in his temper, possessed of considerable talents, having the advantage of military habits—despotic in his ordinary demeanour—known to have scoffed in private at the principles of liberty—when such a man is seen to mount the hobby horse of popularity—to join in the cry of danger to liberty—to take every opportunity of embarrassing the General Government & bringing it under suspicion—to flatter and fall in with all the non sense of the zealots of the day—It may justly be suspected that his object is to throw things into confusion that he may “ride the storm and direct the whirlwind.”

In running a number of business's in my career, I found that any of my employees who required help in reading and comprehension of my memos, such as using bullets, were not worth reaching at all, as that inability to be able to comprehend made them recipients of cartoons or some other type of "fun" activity to help them understand.

Soon, they were simply not copied on certain memos.

Part of running a business is understanding that all are not created equal, and some need remedial help to keep up.

Just read slow and use your index finger to follow the words. Reading it aloud can help perhaps.

We ALL would belong to one...IF...the federal government didn't fear them and all but outlaw them. Militias are demonized.

We were to be a national militia NOT a standing army. We weren't supposed to go "over there"...we were only supposed to protect here.

We have the specific RIGHT to have arms and organize militias.

It is really pathetic how poorly he represents America. I read an article recently that stated how embarrassed his aides were at a meeting he had with Merkel, where he showed his complete ignorance of international agreements. The fact that people close to him are facing real criminal charges, is encouraging. It shows there was wrongdoing and that the Mueller investigation is on firm ground. The Republicans in Congress must see how dangerous Trump is for their party, particularly if Democrats score big in the November elections. There is also serious talk that Trump is suffering early stage dementia. All of these factors certainly point to possible impeachment or removal from office, hopefully the sooner the better.

That's interesting, but my quick reading of the bill tells me that carrying in a state that does no grant reprocity will only shield one from federal law. Unless I'm readin it wrong, if you have a FL CCW permit and use it to carry in Massachusetts, you will still be in violation of Massachusetts state laws.

I don't know that the federal government has the power to force states into reciprocity. I believe that drivers license recprocity is based on fifty individual state laws.

It seems that you're assigning these attributes, outlined by Hamilton, to President Trump. What's going on here is that you're regurgitating the left's propaganda. The president is none of these things. You might believe that he is and that's your right. But tens of millions of people disagree with you.

This kind of rhetoric is why it's getting nearly impossible to have a rational conversation about politics. One side states something as if it's the absolute truth when it is merely an opinion and wants to start the conversation with that as a given.

People on both sides of the political spectrum would rather demonize people who disagree with them as opposed to having a rational discussion about different political philosophies.

Until we are all willing to accept that we might not be 100% correct about everything and that we might have something to learn by listening to people with different views, we will never get out of this mess.

I believe that we all have mostly the same goals and values. We simply have different ideas on how to get to a solution.

Wow! It certainly made me think of Obamma and the racial division that he inspired, along with the flagrant demise of the ethics of our government by his administration and associates.

It also made me think of Crazy Bernie and his cries of social injustice...except he had no wealth.
(Which seems odd given so many politicians that serve have aquired wealth).

If there was an Alexander Hamilton story about a half woman / half horse that tried to lead the country to oblivion for her own gain...it would definitely remind me of Crooked Hillary.

Seeing how you like to review things from the past that look to be applicable to the present: Did you ever notice how a lot of the technology from Star Trek has come to exist currently? The communicator is a cell phone, the phaser is a laser, they had space shuttles...seems just as foreshadowing as Alexander Hamilton's letters.

I believe that this question has been dealt with by The Supreme Court. You have every right to disagree with that decision and if it's important to you, you should work to petition the court to reverse their decision.

The law, in this country, per order of The Supreme Judicial Court is that citizens have the right to carry firearms with some restrictions applied.

You may not like the law, but it is the law.

The mainstream media gives you OPINION and very little "facts".

I lived "reality" rocky...I did war planning, I deployed troops and equipment...I know what went, where, and why.

The public...obviously...did NOT.

It's a part of military operations...misdirection...propaganda. It's ALSO part of "political operations".

If YOU hear of the truth...it's part of the plan..it's deliberate...they WANT everyone, including the enemy...to know.

What good is a doomsday weapon...if you don't tell anyone about it?

Notice you don't hear anything about aircraft carries and where they are? All that talk a few months ago about carriers heading towards NK, a bunch already there...that was all bullsh!t. You'll know it's real when troops start deploying. When your grandson gets deployed to SK or Japan. When the reservists get their notice to start packing.

NK is NOT a problem unless we MAKE it a problem. You ignorant fools KNOW nothing. NK is a Korean society that just wants to be left the f@ck alone! They're smart Asians who figured out that the ONLY way NOT to be taken over by anyone...is to be a nuclear power. That's their...leave me the f@ck alone or I'll bleed you card. NK is isolated because they WANT to be isolated. The people aren't starving, I've NEVER seen starving people in the pictures "smuggled" out. Actually...I see CLEAN cities and clean people. It's ALL propaganda. We're told by our country the same lies their country tells about us.

We did the same sh!t to Japan during WWII...we embargoed them, blocked everything coming in...until they FINALLY struck out at us...in a "sneak" attack. We BAITED Japan into attacking...we FORCED them to do something. "America" is run by real douchebags.

I think you know that when this discussion of the media takes place, it is not about military planning.

I think you should be proud of whatever you did in the past, BUT IT IS THE PAST.

We are speaking of misleading the American citizens on a daily basis, not on military planning as you seem to always want to make it about, but policies that affect them on a daily basis.

The mainstream media (excepting Fox on some occassions) do not lie...I have been asking for an example of a lie in reporting (not commentary) but never receive one. And from you we get either another war story OR your racial hatred spew.

Go back to wherever you live....stay out of here.

Sure it is...the middle east, syria, afghanastan, iraq, iran, S.A., yemen, NK, Russia, China...it's ALL about political AND military planning.

I said the government uses the SAME tactics as the military...distractions, misdirections, propaganda...our media is an arm of the government which is just an arm of the wealthy who run the corporations who "donate" to get politicians elected...to serve the wealthy who run the corporations.

YES the mainstream media DOES lie. You won't accept the truth...you call the sources "unreliable" and won't hear any more about it.

You won't go down to MLK Blvd and SEE that I'm being truthful with you. You refuse to visit a black high school to SEE the animal like conditions experienced there. You REFUSE to see the truth. You'd rather sit home and "learn" by viewing propaganda.

Turn off the TV rocky...it's addling your mind. It lies to you. It tries to mold your thinking.

Might want to learn your Amendments. The one you quoted is the Second.

Ever heard of Freedom of Speech? That would be the First.

That's why Liberals should stay out of gun discussions. They are clueless..

You are correct, and I changed that. Without a gratuitous insult.

Everyone knows Fox is legally registered as "entertainment" and the people there are "entertainers". They do employ a couple of actual journalists, Smith and Wallace, but everyone else is allowed to lie and mislead...Fox has dropped that "fair and balanced" BS. The latest outrage is the Jeanne Pierro and Hannity talk about "purging" the FBI, taken up by a couple of Congressmen. Once the regular media pointed out the similarities to Stalin and Hitler, I believe Fox shut that talk down fairly quickly. The "Uranium One" rant by Hannity was also shut down by Shep Smith, who pointedly listed actual facts.

I follow Fox comments on Facebook and notice the overwhelming number of posters are poorly educated. I really believe the great divide in this country is not so much politics and wealth, as it is in well educated and poorly educated. And I notice lately conservatives have some sort of a war going on against education. The word "liberal" is always associated with the word "education".

‘Pants On Fire’: Analysis Shows 60% Of Fox News ‘Facts’ Are Really Lies

You see that on here with all the attacks against libraries and librarians. From the huge TRUMP supporters too and some of these posters lie almost as much as Donald John Trump.

There were some honest Trump supporters on here but they seemed to have taken a powder.

Criminal harassment from Allegiance but his claiming he is Gene will help when I submit a report to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office about this long term criminal harassment by Allegiance and a few others. There is an awful lot of evidence of this CRIMINAL harassment on here now.
