Where is the best place in TV to have a decent steak dinner?

Prefer to stay in TV or close by.

You can use The Villages Gourmet Club Search Engine to find any type of food anywhere within 100 miles of here. I use it all the time. My favorite is Longhorn.

Lopez has a good filet !

Lopez had a good filet, don't trust any restaurant thats about to close-the help has an attitude--the same thing happened @ Hemmingways just before it was sold

also, for a really great dining experience, try Sky Fusion in Ocala--check out their menu, see if its right for you--not cheap but well worth the trip

Ocean Prime in Orlando-----but bring your piggy bank

My vote is for Rose Plantation if you will drive a tiny bit out of TV. If not, I guess it’s Palmers. So sorry to see Lopez go. I loved the Thursday Filet special. It will always be my favorite.

Less than zero atmosphere, but I have had two excellent NY strip steaks at Texas Roadhouse in the last month.

Bern's in Tampa can't be beat in this area if you are willing to make the drive. One of the best in USA and the bill will reflect that but IMHO is well worth it.

Went to Katie Bells because we wanted to stay in TV. Wednesday is steak night special and DH and male friend enjoyed the steaks.

Rest of us had other entrees and were pleased with food and service.

Bonus was the entertainment. I forget the name of the female singer, but she was good and added to a nice evening in The Villages.

This must be fake news.
I saw on this forum that Katie Bells was ruined by the 3rd generation.

I had an absolutely great steak at Demshaw's in SS

IMHO, Demshar's does not get the credit it deservers. Never been disappointed there.

Texas Roadhouse......the Ribeye......close by and very good value...

The steaks at Texas Roadhouse are excellent. It's not that they have zero atmosphere, it's that the atmosphere is noisy.

Their steaks are fine. If you want prime steaks Palmer, Turners, Rose Plantation or Mark's Prime.
