Our President....

Appears to be a racist ally of our Don Baldwin

Let's hope the special forces from our country in these countries do not need help.

Also appears these folks may have a serious ax to grind now.

Classy guy.

"Why are we having all these people from ****hole countries come here?” Trump said, according to these people, referring to African countries and Haiti. He then suggested that the United States should instead bring more people from countries like Norway, whose prime minister he met Wednesday."

".@realDonaldTrump, your mouth is the foulest ****hole in the world. With what authority do you proclaim who’s welcome in America and who’s not. America’s greatness is built on diversity, or have you forgotten your immigrant background, Donald?"

A response from ex President of Mexico.

Rockyrd 01-11-2018 06:25 PM

Trumps comments follow his saying "all immigrants from Haiti have AIDS."

Now he denied that comment, but today's with shocked Republicans witnessing make it more legit.

This is going to hurt immigration policy BIG TIME

Wiotte 01-11-2018 06:32 PM

Trump speaks what people think. We all know which the shlthole countries are. To speak the way he speaks is not classy but he wants to get his point across and that’s his style. Most powerful people simply give a wink and a nod, classier than Trump but still the same message.

Issue here is not the word the president uses to describe these countries but the fact that he thinks their living conditions should disqualify people from being allowed to come here -- which would disqualify most immigrants in our history.

Rockyrd 01-11-2018 06:50 PM

With apologies to anyone from New Jersey...can I point out that if Trump is looking for s---holes Atlantic City qualifies

NOT Hispanic diversity Senor...Up until the mid 1960s it was EXCLUSIVELY white European "diversity"...look it up *******.

NO NO NO...get your f@cking history straight! The "diversity" was ALL European. Just a few percent were coming in from black/brown places.

America was built from WHITE and EUROPEAN immigrants...not black and brown people. The invasion began in the 1960s.

"President Trump has broken 2,000.

With just 10 days before he finishes his first year as president, Trump has made 2,001 false or misleading claims in 355 days, according to our database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president. That’s an average of more than 5.6 claims a day."

President Trump has made more than 2,000 false or misleading claims over 355 days - The Washington Post

What a man...no, he is anything but a man. He has lied to all his wives, and others wives with whom he slept, his business associates, and now is taking all of us for a ride.

That does not describe any real man.

Rockyrd 01-11-2018 07:38 PM

Sad, but his remarks will simply make some love him more.

We have reduced ourselves to worshipping liars, bigots, and men who abuse women. To accept over 2000 lies in less than a year.

These are the standards of some, in order to make him richer, to make us weaker than ever.

Taltarzac725 01-11-2018 07:40 PM

I was frankly stunned by Trump's racism. This will also make a great sound bite for anyone running against this man if he is even running in 2020.

Quote:

To have this outrage come as we approach the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is to cast in sharp relief the moral gulf between America as envisioned by the civil rights activist and our current President. It was Dr. King who said "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." By all accounts, Mr. Trump does not now and has never believed in such an America.
He seems to want to make America White Again as a newscaster said tonight.

Quote:

This is undeniably and clearly outright racist. It simply cannot be allowed to continue by anyone who cares about the future of this country. This is sad. It is hurtful. It is dangerous. It is unpatriotic. Each elected official, each American, has a choice: where do you stand? Some may say this helps the President with his base. What about how it debases the values of our nation? This rhetoric has to be damned at every turn, at every time. That millions of hard working men, women, and children have lives that hang in the balance at the whims of this President only makes this moment all the more tragic. Make no mistake, America is diminished today in the eyes of the world and in the eyes of history. It will be up to every decent person to make sure that this is not our destiny.
I hope people will see how wrong Trump's statement was.

Yep.

He's been sending out his dog whistle racism since he started running and as can be seen by people like Abby10 and a lot of my neighbors...they now feel more comfortable exhibiting their true racist/bigoted nature. :ohdear:

Hey, I own a house in Atlantic City. It does have complicated, serious problems. That said, on my block english is the third language, Vietnamese follow by Spanish are the lead languages. I have said Trump is wrong because it is very much like when I was a kid, a family neighborhood. Mom & dad and two kids. They get up and go to work every day. Since their language skills are low they don't make much money.

Why not? WHY shouldn't like minded white people be ALLOWED to live exclusively among other white people? HOW is it right to "bust a block" by FORCING in blacks? The neighborhoods never recover. Past a certain point and it's all over for that neighborhood...EVERY time.

WHY can't you dispute ANYTHING I say? Because I'm f@cking right!

I think Donald is a deep state plant from the dems. He is purposely making to republicans look as bad as possible so the swing in the next election will put dems in control in red states too.

Lottoguy 01-12-2018 11:21 AM

What will it eventually take for the Republicans in Congress to stop supporting this guy? He will go down in flames and take everybody with him. They can kiss their small advantage in the House and Senate goodbye.

There are political considerations to be measured but he is so out of whack, you wonder how long.

My opinion is that they will wait for the report from Mueller and then ditch him. That report will detail quite a bit more and give them cover with donors, etc.

But who knows how long the GOP can take the hits it is getting as a result of this presidency. Polls, registration numbers, etc are piling up in the negative catagory, and they need to really begin to worry about a democratic landslide in 2018. Note all the retirements within the GOP....a good indicator of the weakness of the party going into 2018

Its hurting Republicans big time as well. He can deny all he wants, but people in the room heard it and aren't afraid to say so. I bet the Republicans are wishing Mueller will hurry up and finish his investigation so they can dump Trump's sorry @ss.

doughete 01-12-2018 11:59 AM

The democrats have no incentive to get rid of him before the mid terms and who knows he could be such a good recruiting tool they might try to keep him office full term. Any candidate in my opinion (except Bernie), would look good next to Donald.

good point and they cannot get rid of him soon in any case.

Impeachment is a political process. A president cannot be indicted for anything actually.

My thought......depending on the results of the investigation, and of course since it is Trump and he cares nothing about the country, and only him, he will blame everyone else for whatever comes out and will not do anything honorable...so he fights....how long the Republicans stay with this faltering presidency is the question.

Severity of any crimes, if any, from Mueller may tell the tale. They will then leave quickly and then impeachment becomes the avenue because as with Nixon, the day comes when you gotta face reality......of course this it Trump and he simply creates his own reality

doughete 01-12-2018 03:24 PM

Not a lawyer but I believe the impeachment bar is very low. We not talking felonies as a prerequisite. President Johnson's impeachment was a political affair. Of course to actually be impeached some republican senators would have to vote with the democrats. Could be interesting politics. It would be great theater to see democrats voting to keep him office only to have McCain wheeled in the cast the deciding thumbs down and say backs are a bitch.

Yep, it is everywhere.

Of course he will deny, call everyone a liar, etc., etc.

This is and always has been a very bad man. As our country becomes a reality show because of this person, he is "playing" the entire country especially those called "his base".

He needs to keep this group "on board" with whatever he does or says, because if they go, the GOP will turn on him quickly.

They, no matter why they still trust such a terrible person, will not come out of this reality show with any sense of satisfaction.

This experience that he is putting a once great country through will certainly insure that the GOP is sapped of any strength, and our country will no longer have the respect of the world.
