Apparently we are just not "hip" enough. I'm taking this as a compliment.

Maybe they just didn't hear yet that we are getting a driverless taxi.

I'm not so sure about that, as I'm guessing we can compete with any place...in titanium hips per square mile. :D

The Villages is in Florida, 'nuff said. Bet this jerk lives in a 600 sq ft $2000 mo s***hole apt in NY. Amazing number of idiots in this country.

It's gonna be another beautiful day in The Villages.

Good morning y'all!

The purpose of this article is to get people to see the name "Thrillist". I would guess that no one here has ever heard of this company before. A marketing strategy is to say something completely ridiculous, outrageous or controversial so that people will look at it and spread it on the internet.

I've already seen this article posted on FaceBook and another site.

We are being used.

There is an excellent book on this by David Baldacci called The Whole Truth that shows just how far this strategy can go.

I HATE being used and being subjected to ridicule. EVERYONE does. Why would ANYONE want to do that to anyone else?

WHY? I have wondered that so often.

We lived in Florida three times before finally giving up on it.

And yet you are still here?

I think the reason why Floridians seem to be ridiculed so much is that when summer comes, bringing the heat and humidity, it is rare to find someone who is honest enough to say yes, it is hot and humid down here.

We the Northerners get ridiculed too...in the middle of the winters, we get calls and emails from our Floridian friends laughing at us.

So I guess we are even.

Well we only have one way to look 👀 ☝️☝️☝️

Came to Florida on vacation in 1962 with my beautiful bride. We both fell in love with Florida. We only dreamed of actually owning property here. North in the summer and south in The winter. Is this a great country or what!

Oh yeah, Orlando, Florida was ranked the number one U.S. vacation destination place. I wonder why if Florida is the worst State. About that...in the words of that great philosopher Forrest Gump, that’s all I have to say about that.
