An accident waiting to happen
Was getting gas this morning-on a pump next to me I observed a gentleman who had tone in his 80's, he could barely get out of the car--it didn't fit him
The car is a 650HP ZO6--wouldn't take much for a mishap |

Great, now we are reporting accidents before they even happen! Welcome to Minority Report in TV
|
I wonder what that guy was thinking as he looked around?
|
I am spellbound.
|
he was thinking.....one is never too old....doing it while he still can....
I personally do not think hp/age is any more a factor than all the other elder driver kamikazees on the road in and around TV... |

Thurman Munson & JFK Jr. were killed in crashes of planes they owned ,which were proven to be above their skill level-

Its not age , but do you think you could handle a car that can go 0-60, under 3 secs--not much room for error= when I got my AA fuel car I had to be licensed before I could drive--that was over 50 years ago , and guess what the person who sold me the car signed my license==had no idea what I was in for , the first time I drove and it was the last time I drove it

Reminds me of a scene in Steve Martin’s L A Story movie where the camera focuses on a red Ferrari convertible with the top down. Next thing, a couple of walkers get tossed in behind the seats and two Q-tips hop in and roar off.

Was that the same guy that was too feeble to reach down to get his mail? Hope it's not a four speed. Those cars are best left to those with better mobility, reflexes and vision. |

When he does on a date he needs 3 girls- two of them to lift him up and down

But a couple of years ago a guy with a yellow Ferrari and at the same pump had handicap plates, anyone wanna bet, he's a Dr. who got himself the plates & you're from up north when you use the term plates instead of tags

They can be as fierce as they are capable of doing or as docile as a Honda Fit on the way to the grocery store.
How many other cars are on the roads of TV that could be considered beyond some folks capability. For some that would be any car with 4 wheels and steering. We have been driving vettes for 50 years...Beachbend Drag strip...Daytona Speedway and The Villages! Fun where ever driven. |

True, but were they rotary capable? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro |
as long as you know the difference between the gas pedal & the brake pedal after looking @ the driver it may be a problem and its for real
|
This sounds like fake news or green eye news!

Maybe they shouldn't own Cadillacs either
The Cadillac CTS-V is the most powerful and fastest production car in the 112-year history of General Motors' luxury division. Even for a brand known for big engines with huge horsepower, this latest entry into the horsepower wars may be one of the most significant achievements in company history. |
I think someone is jealous!

We live in an age where the performance of cars you can buy straight off of the showroom floor...was unimaginable even a few short years ago.
0-60 times around 3 seconds, 1.0G+ skid pad numbers and 180+ mph top speeds...can actually come in handy. And where better to use the performance of these "supercars" cars than in TV...while trying to avoid an accident in the plethora of roundabouts? :D |
Why are we trying to tell someone what kind of a car they should drive? Most people here in TV don't drive worth a damn anyway. Maybe we should mind our own business.
