Kattie Belles?
We're thinking of going tonight for the dueling pianos?
How is the food, service and show? |
I would just go. You are going to get good & bad reviews on here.
You base where you go on posts on social media? Owned since 2009 and first trip to KB? |
Well, yes it is....
|
Go. Never had a bad meal or a bad time a KB's. Always look forward to it.
|
It's a great place. Food is good.

I tend to agree with Bogie Shooter. You can absolutely rely on Bonny as well. I haven't been to Katie Belles since it has had it's do-over. Waiting to hear what the OP has to say if he goes. |
I had dinner at Katie Belle's recently (in the last 2 months) and had a good experience both times. The service, food and entertainment were all very good. The only thing to be cognizant of is that because of the live music/entertainment, it is hard to have a conversation while dining. Enjoy!

Agree that you should go and make your own conclusions.

My husband and I went Wednesday night to hear Suzie Casta. We made reservations for 5:30, went in at 5:15. Good service, ordered strip steak and prime rib. Both good. Show was great (as usual with Casta).

I’ve found the food at Katie Belle’s ranges from okay to incredible. Last night I had a medium rare strip steak that melted in your mouth like fillet.
Warning on the dueling pianos, if you are expecting an experience like “Howl at the Moon” or other venues where dueling pianos means you get to request songs, this is not that type of dueling pianos. They have a set list. It is a sing along. |
Went to the old Katie’s several times. The food was just average (not bad) but always enjoyed. No doubt it was time for a makeover. The newer version doesn’t quite have the “character” of old Katie Belle’s IMHO, but the food is about the same. Noise can be a factor to some....

The food is OK. We love the singing waiters on Friday nights.
|
I went to a Norman Lee show with a "special" menu. Nothing edible. No thanks. They ruined a favorite venue of the Villagers. Supposedly just for us. No more. Sad.
|
We found it was the atmosphere in KB was brought us there. The food before and after for us has always been ok.

I had a steak there that was very good !

Went to the dueling piano show a few years ago--we walked out after half an hour--too bland, compared to dueling piano shows we had been to in the past-
used to eat @ the bar @ the old Katie Belles--haven't set foot in the new one as of yet--not a thing on their menu has caught our interest |
Went a month ago, food was good, dueling pianos was enjoyable. if you are expecting to have deep conversations, don't go anywhere that has entertainment as the two mix like oil and water. As for the ambiance, very nice and note that some people don t handle change very well (from the old Katie Belle's).

Here my two cents about KB. We have been there a couple of times in the past few months and have enjoyed the food and entertainment. If you want to have a good view of the entertainment ask to be seated along the railing in the bar area. This will put you above the tables and a good view of the stage. The downside of setting in this area are noisy bar patrons. If your are wanting an area for conversion asked to be seated to the left of the hostess station. This will get you back in a corner away from the stage.

We go to Katie Belles about twice a month and always have a good meal. The prime rib is excellent and they usually have a $30.00 special for two. The salad bar is very good as well, everything is nice and fresh. Usualyy go when our favorites are there, Rocky and the Rollers and Johnny Wild and the delights. Entertainment is great and the eveninng is usually awesome!
