E-Z-GO Elite Lithium Series

Anyone have a review or information regarding EZGO Lithium Carts. I am in the market to purchase and wondering if anyone has purchased. I understand the cost is $4,000 more due to battery warranty and maintanance free. Just interested in charge time, distance etc.

Thanks

I had my cart converted from lead based batteries to Lithium Ion Power cells 2 year ago by Advantage Golf Cars (no longer in TV) When fully operational and on a full charge, I can get over a weeks worth of travel without the need to plug in and charge. I can now go from Mulberry to Brownwood and back on a full charge.

I say "fully operational" because over these past 2 years, I have had 2 batteries fail and had to have them replaced under warranty. Since AGC has moved to Ocala, it is a $100 charge for pick up and return for service.

We have new version in the works.

It will be far better than the current models, about half that cost

If you add solar take another 30% off

EZGO Elite Lithium has 3 models - 2.0(60ah*50v=3kw), 3.0(90ah*50v=4.5kw), 4.0(120ah*50v=6kw)

The EZGO AC motor is pretty efficient at about 100w per mile.
An EZGO Elite 4.0 has an approx range of 60 miles (6kw/100w) at 80F.
I am guessing it comes with a standard 1000w battery charger so charging rate of approx 10 miles per hour.

I have seen the Elite 4.0 advertised at $10K on-line. Still too pricey for me.

Yamaha and Club Car should have their Lithium carts this year so competition should lower prices.

As a lithium boost dealer I have been informed the new version is expected to be about $2,000 installed in any cart.

If there's any chance of competition in the lithium market, I would surely wait.

Is that for the 180ah Li-48/180? :)

jimbo2012 03-06-2018 12:10 PM

there are several AH rated systems including a 180ah, but new pricing is due soon.

MorTech 03-06-2018 12:56 PM

Which AH system is "about $2000"?

jimbo2012 03-06-2018 01:22 PM

As I said I'll have the exact prices soon

Stopped by the Tomberlin dealer yesterday.
They say a lithium model will be out this year.

By soon, you mean?
I ask because there's a nice RXV near me that i thought might be a good candidate for a conversion.

jimbo2012 03-26-2018 09:06 AM

Still waiting for the date

Jimbo, Will your batteries have a warranty?

jimbo2012 04-03-2018 01:00 PM

I'm sure they will but until a formal announcement I can't say.

They say the expect the units to be ready sometime in May

What is the cost of adding solar? What is the warranty on these batteries? Is the 30% off of both the batteries and the solar or just the batteries?

jimbo2012 06-18-2018 05:52 AM

The solar installed is $789 no tax
Lithium still not available if it was as long on same invoice you are eligible for 30% on all

For now we are using the Trojan Rangers with solar, works very well

MorTech 06-18-2018 09:26 AM

What is the Amp-Hour rating of the $789 solar setup?

jimbo2012 06-18-2018 09:59 AM

Panels are generally rated in watts
