Reminder TOTV Lunch Dec. 18
 

Hi Kathie!
I'm so excited!!:MOJE_whot: After "lurking" for a couple of years, I have finally convinced hubby to do a LSP. We're coming up on Tuesday for a week and will definitely be there for the TOTV luncheon on Friday! I made sure we scheduled it around the luncheon. I'm looking so forward to meeting you and everyone else on Friday. Thank you for all you do here at TOTV!

Kathie, how long will ya'll be at Crispers? We have tickets to a 2:00 show at Savannah.

Jane, NO excuses this month... I wanna see ya there.... since there will be so many new peeps and snowbirds, I think we'll be there until 5pm and knowing me....:blahblahblah::blahblahblah: I'll be talking non-stop until then.....
Ssmith - of course, Mik is gonna be the main attraction!! Don't tell her but.... I'm even gonna take pictures of her and post them.... shhhhhhh.

I've been here since Saturday for a three week stay. Hubby will not be here until Sunday. Working on the house and I have not talked to anyone as I don't know many people yet....so, I hope to come and visit. Have to come as a single for now I guess. It will be great to get to talk to some people in person and make sure my voice still works.

Oh how I wish I were there.

What is the purpose of a TOTV Luncheon? Who goes? What's a "Peep"

This snowbird can't make it for the December luncheon...DH and I will be arriving the 27th of this month. I turn 60 December 17th, so I'm sorry to miss out on the December birthday celebrations.

What is the purpose of a TOTV Luncheon? Its a monthly get-together for all members of TOTV, held at Crispers on CR 466 at 3pm on the 3rd Friday of every month. We use it as a "meet and greet" for newcomers and also to enjoy the friendships that have been established.

Peeps? Short form for the word for people, just because I'm lazy or in a hurry.

Hope you are in TV and can join us this Friday.

Sorry, I'll miss all you guys and newbies tomorrow. I've been down most of the week with A Massive Bug, and think it unwise to venture out amongst crowds and crowds just yet. :laugh:

Did y'all feel the good vibes being sent down to Crispers this afternoon from ATL. It was me! Wish I was there. Can't wait to see the photos. :kiss:

This was the first ever Crisper's luncheon that my husband (Joeb1) and I have attended. It was nice to finally connect with some of the TOTV folks in person. Thanks to all who have welcomed us with open arms, especially Debokla who has gone out of her way to make us feel right at home in TV. :kiss:

Yes, we all felt the good vibes, it was a lot of fun. So many good peeps to talk to, and a delicious cake provided by Kathie for JoJo's B'day. I am glad I was able to be there.

I am so happy that everyone had such a great time at the luncheon!! :coolsmiley: What a great way for all friends to come together and meet, share stories and have lots of laughs.

I'm sorry to those that I planned to meet, I had an unexpected back problem while getting packages out of the bin at the P.O. Box, dropped everything and extremely embarassed lol and couldnt move for alittle while (old bones lol). I hope to definitley see you all at the next luncheon, looking forward to meeting all my TOTV friends!!

P.S. If by chance the very nice gentleman that helped me pick up my packages and follow me home is here on TOTV, I want to thank you so much and let you know how much I appreciated your kindness. TV is definitely "The Friendliest Hometown"!!

Jeanne, you were greatly missed!!! I kept asking where you were, and was so sorry to hear about your back problem! That is so nice that a wonderful gentleman to come to your rescue.
