Welcome Back Seasonal Residents

We are full time residents and have many full time and seasonal residents acquaintances. I would like to welcome all our seasonal residents back home to the Villages as the start of the early season. We find them fun loving people who at times take to much unnecessary criticism. I actually am glad there back to fill our clubs and socials with fun and laughter. I ask in respect of them this post stays clean free from any sarcastic or unnecessary remarks. Thanks for reading my post..

Dittos Bare! We are seasonal, but just left on Friday after spending six fun weeks in July and August. We will be back in January to clog the roads, MMPs, tee times and restaurants. Enjoy the fall!!!

I don’t think of being a seasonal resident, just lucky, as we enjoy getting away from the summer heat.
More like a vacation at the lake house.

Plus one we have been here for just over 4 weeks setting up our new seasonal CYV and leave in less than 2 weeks from now. We’ll be back in late December shortly after Christmas.

When I was a snowbird, I didn't feel picked on. Now that I am a year rounder, I don't see much picking on snowbirds.

They just are missing out, poor souls, on the time of the year with no lines. I hate to see January, February and March, not because of the seasonal residents but because Florida in general is so sought after and SO crowded. I love seeing friends who own here and can only get away for short times to be with us. I LOVE seeing friends who don't own here YET and can only get away for short times to be with us.

Snowbirds put a lot of money into the economy and are fun people! At least the ones I've met.

Psa1000 09-03-2018 09:23 AM

It’s our second home and we come back and forth all year! Love the excitement and meeting my new friends again!

Your a "snowflake". You drop in from time to time.

I have snowbird neighbors that live directly across the street and I look forward to their return. Great people. Snowbirds are paying all year, just like us year-rounders. Lets all welcome them back! :welcome:
