What are the rules on displaying a golf cart or scooter for sale in a yard?
Hillsborough and Pinellas are turning into used cart lots...who would one call?
|
It is all spelled out in the deed restrictions.
|
We just traveled from Bonifay CC to Buena Vista Blvd. I don't recall seeing any carts for sale.

I saw one on Hillsborough for sale. Geez is this a major problem?
|
Golf carts for sale are often seen along Bailey Trail in backyards. I don't think anyone says anything.

I only saw two on Hillsborough and they were not a big deal.

Good lord! Used cart lots? Aren't there more pressing things in life to worry about than someone trying to sell their cart for more than what a dealer is trying to steal it for?
IS IT OWN YOUR PROPERTY? No? Worry about the bad things in life that happen to innocent people and what you can do to help solve that; people selling their carts is nothing to worry about. |

Some people just have too much time other hands...
|
Really?
|
I live in Pinellas and know the person selling the cart from his back yard in Pinellas. He has sold his house and is moving out of the Villages to a place where he does not have a use for the cart. Don't see anything wrong with that.
|
While there are those that poo-poo those of that follow the rules and try and make us feel bad it is against community standards to put a golf cart in your yard for sale. Call or email them. I personally do not want the villages to look like other trailer parks where all kinds of garbage goes on the lawn for sale. Shame on those of you who try to make some one feel bad for doing the right thing. It's people like that who make a neighborhood trashy.
|
You can do anything you want until you get caught or someone turns you in. A lot of things being done in TV are not legal but someone has to complain, that's the rules.
|
What irritates me is when they just park them in the street and put a For Sale sign on them.
:faint: |

Enough already...……………….

Extrapolating from a golf cart for sale to a trailer-trash park!!!!
WOW!!!! |
When you start parking vehicles on the lawn is where I can question the optics.

Dead restricted cover back yards? Why wouldn't they park it in drive way in the front?

There is one poster on this thread that thinks it's no big deal to sell a golf cart from your lawn (against the rules) He states "Worry about the bad things in life that happen to innocent people and what you can do to help solve that; people selling their carts is nothing to worry about." Well I say "Don't leave a footprint in a sand trap for him to see..... he'll flip out.":boom: All I'm saying is we would not have a lot of these problems if people would just FOLLOW ALL THE RULES not just the ones you care about, because they may be important to someone else.:icon_wink: |
I'd rather have the neighbor display it in the driveway or yard instead of the street. It's temporary, not permanent.
|
Take it to squares
Ours sold in 2 hours. Make lettering big and thick. Price at your lowest.

I travel all over TV in my SUV and my cart and I VERY RARELY see a cart in a yard for sale; I also play a lot of golf and I see the product of being lazy on every hole. |
