P.F. Changs Coming to Brownwood?
New rumor floating out there that P.F. Changs ( or maybe Chang's lite, ie; Pei Wei) has signed a lease for the empty space across the street from Bluefin. IF true, this would be great news. The first major restaurant chain south of 466A plus it would draw more traffic to Brownwood and help every other venue there.

We love P.F. Chang's. When we would play in the Bella Vista spring and fall couple's golf tournaments in NW Arkansas, we would eat at the one in Rogers, AR a couple of times each week. The lettuce wraps are awesome.
If it does come here, we'll make it a regular spot to go to. |
This would be an awesome addition to Brownwood!!! Considering that GOOD chinese food is tough to come by in the Villages, PF change would be welcome.
Admission - my wife and I do like Thai Ruby a lot though...haven't had a bad meal there yet... |
Big money for wraps.
|
I enjoy PFC but not on a regular basis.

I am a little envious of people who enjoy trying new foods of all kinds. |
That would fill the empty space nicely. It's been a long time. But seeing is believing.

No longer a rumor. It's confirmed!
---------- Thank you for your note and inquiry. We are planning on opening a bistro in The Villages (Brownwood Town Center) with a projected opening in 2020. Hang in there! Warm Regards, Amy Guest Relations P.F. Chang's China Bistro |
Another Asian food restaurant in the south end of the Villages will be great. Best of luck to them. I have eaten at all the Asian restaurants and like them all. P.F. Chang's should be a great addition to Brownwood.

Another chain restaurant but considering tge quality of Chinese restaurants here...it cant be much worse.
|
Why not Cheesecake Factory too? They always seem to be close by the PF Changs
|
Best place for a Cheesecake Factory is where the Barnes & Noble is right now. That is a huge building and would be perfect for them. I've have no idea how profitable that store is, but many book stores have been closing nationwide.

We love P.F. Changs and will be regulars.:clap2:

Hubby and I found out recently that PF Changs is no longer affiliated with Pei Wei. We have PF Changs gift cards and have always used them at Pei Wei also. Not so anymore. We were informed by Pei Wei that Pei Wei no longer accepts PF Changs gift cards.
|
I had the mistaken (apparently) idea that PF Changs food was "boil in a bag" stuff, like Applebee's. However, based on what I found, I stand corrected.
"P.F. Chang’s kitchens are all-scratch kitchens, meaning the food is made from scratch every day, in every restaurant, and the chefs use all-natural meat, responsibly sourced seafood, and local produce whenever possible." And that makes me even more excited to hear they are coming to Brownwood!! |

No real Asian restaurants anywhere close to the Villages. All a bunch of Americanized courses or fast food. Last time I had Tom Yum soup it was unrecognizable from the real stuff. An authentic Asian restaurant would be welcomed.....about time a true Korean restaurant came to town also, Tampa is to far a drive.

Love PF Chang’s. That said, wiil probably go once but have found they have too much salt in their foods for those of us who have to watch our salt intake. That generally goes for other restaurants we like. Glad to see them come to TV and good wishes to them.
|
Been there a few times. Never thought their food was any better than many other places I have been to. They do have a nice decor. They also usually carry a premium price. I might go once but I do really like Koyame for their food and great service.
|
PF's can be good or just ok. Been to a lot of them around the country. Fairly standardized menu at all places. Quality is totally up to the management and staff. IMHO.
