Need a window washer
 

I was given a name of a window washer but when I called got a recorded message that said to leave our name and phone #. That was several days ago and we've still not heard back from him. Can anyone recommend someone to come and wash our windows? Someone who will actually come and give an estimate then comply?? I understand when someone is busy it's tough to return calls but they should set a time aside to do that. IF they're too busy to add more business then say so instead of letting potential business just hanging.

I have used D&J (Dan & Jake Ziotek) 352 561-1111. They have done all my windows and glass lanai doors for 3 or 4 times already. I am so pleased with how fast and efficient they are, not to mention how good. In fact, I have had to buy a suncatcher to put on the glass lanai door because twice someone walked into the door after they had cleaned it. That's how good they are.

Would you all be willing to say what "reasonable rates" are from these two businesses??? Do they price by the window or the house??

Another recommendation for D&J here. We've used them three times and we are having them back again later this month. We have some neighbors that use them too.

Give them a call and they will stop by and give you an estimate. For example we have glass sliders on the lanai that we have them clean. I'm sure that our neighbors that don't have glass sliders pay less than we do.

I don't know what to call reasonable but the are reliable and do an excellent job. They charged us about $200 for our designer.

Testerman's Home Services (352-617-0451) did our windows last May and did such a good job I may not have to do them again for another year! We hadn't had the windows done since we had moved in in 2015, which was definitely too long a time!
We have a Lantana (Designer) that has 15 windows, 4 door sliders, and 16 plexiglass lanai panels because we're on a golf course. All windows were cleaned in and out ($241). The young man was tidy, punctual, careful of our landscape, and very personable. I was very pleased.

One of these listed here, was the one I called and got no response back from them. Thanks for the other business names---I may have to do some more calling to see if I can get a response from someone.

Yeah, I was proud of washing the sliders until one morning I had to get up at sunrise. Disgusting!

I've been using Leo Araujo @ 904-416-6389. He is fantastic. He hand cleans the screens with soap and water, cleans all of the window tracks and hand cleans the windows inside and out. He's amazing.

We ended up using D & J Window Washers. They came on time and did a great job! We have enclosed our lanai to be a room so it was all those windows plus the slider as well as the whole house. I would definitely recommend them and we'll use their services next time. Thank you for the recommendations!!!

I will add...the other party never did do a follow-up on my call so don't know if they're out of business or too busy.

So glad you were finally able to get someone and glad it was D&J since we have been so pleased with them.

Myself and several of my neighbors have used Leonardo and he does a fantastic job. He hand cleans the window tracks and screens and does a fantastic job hand cleaning the windows. I highly recommend him. 904-416-6389

Do D&J take out the screens and clean the screens too?
How much do they charge for an average size window?
How much lead time do they need?

I don't know how much lead time since I always make the next appointment for 4 months later when they are here. It cost under $150 for the whole house -- inside and out -- we are always pleased.

And they came the last time with 4 men so the job is done incredibly fast.
