Car wash near Buena Vista and CR466A
 

Are there any decent car washes near CR466A and Buena Vista? Are there any near the Colony rec center? I don’t want to go all the way up to 441 to Atlantis. Thanks in advance!

Full service is up on 441, Marathon on 44 has a very good drive through

Closest car washes are at the Sunoco and Shell gas stations at 44 & 301

Just so you know, a call to Atlantis may be in order because lately its been a 50/50 shot at getting full service. I have been going to Villages Car instead.

OP, your question and the answers point definitely for the need for a “full service” car wash and detail shop somewhere along 466A (perhaps Trailwinds) or along State route 44 in or near Brownwood.

I like Sams Club Car Wash but have to be a member $7 either touchless or not

The Southern Trace gas station car washes are really bad. I go to the Villages Car Wash but wish there were a good drive thru one around also

I've said for years - If I had a spare $1mill+, I'd buy a location in Trailwinds area and build a nice Car Wash/Detailing Center.

As long as I'm able I'll continue to wash and wax our cars. It's a good feeling to get out there early morning and spend 30 minutes in the fresh air. Before we moved down from Ohio I had a heated garage so I could wash them when it was too cold outside.

The Marathon on 44 (close to Rohan) has a member program....$70 of car washes for $50.00. Card is refillable. Great drive through but not full service.

I went to Atlantis car wash at 4 pm today. They would not do the inside. I wondered what the problem was.

There is a little shop on Kristine Way in Lake Deaton Plaza on Kristine way. This is close to Rohan Center.

There's a car wash across from Citizen's First Bank in the gas station at Lake Deaton Plaza. It's just east of Rohan Rec Center.

On days when the weather is threatening early in the morning, the workers don't show because if there are no cars there is no pay or tips to split up. Then the sun comes out and they have a Skeleton Crew.

Atlantis is the Best Car Wash I've ever been to when they have their act together! :pray:

Agree, but the last three times there was no full service. Drove down to The Villages Car Wash. I think there is something else going on since even with threatening weather the Villages Car Wash seems to have a full crew.

If you are looking for a full service car wash, you will need to go to 441. Just like for a lot of other shopping, restaurants, bowling etc etc you need to go north, Once you get south of 466, the commercial development is anemic.

BP Auto Spa in Leesburg does a reasonable job. Unless you get a hand wash at Atlantis, they are pretty much on a par with other automatic car washes. I was not keen on the guy who used a scrubbing pad/brush to remove bugs.

I know how you feel. When we arrived in 2016 the front of our beautiful van was covered with bugs whatever that pad is that they use is magic, no Bugs when they were done and no damage either.

Atlantis is slick. They put we're doing the interiors only sign near the machine where you pay instead of just off 441 where you could see it and bail out quickly instead of waiting in line to be disappointed. Just have to call first or look from that street behind Cracker Barrel & Atlantis for the sign.

Villages Car Wash must be Cleaning Up so to speak and they are closing the Oil Change Lanes so maybe they will pick up the pace.
